Location is good for Eiffel Tower, about 9 minutes walk to nearest metro. Rooms are small with 'thin' walls. Bathroom in our room was very small with sink the size of an airplane WC. There was a very strong odor of mold and sewage in our WC. Smell did not diminish with time or venting. WC and room were clean... More

You're only minutes away from the Eiffel Tower, in a quiet side street. Some rooms have a view of the tip of the tower. Single rooms are small and still fine for one person, but the shower might be a bit narrow unless you're slim. Staff was always very friendly and helpful.

I stayed last summer at the Hotel de La Paix Tour Eifell. The room was quite small, but we knew that before booking it, so I wasn't surprised. They compensate it really well though, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rates were very reasonable, I do not know about parking, but... More

Stayed 4 nights in a single room. Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room and modern bathroom. Shower water pressure is very good. Seperate toilet. 5 minute walk from Ecoile Militaire metro (line 8) and 10 mins from Le Motte-Picquet Grenelle (lines 6, 8 and 10) Rue de Grenelle on doorstep and Rue Cler nearby both with plenty of... I arrived at the hotel with my wife on part of our honeymoon trip. The room was quite small and could barely fit 2 suitcases. The hotel also was at a sell out and the bathroom sink had a leak that had water all over the floor. We ended up checking out of this hotel the same evening as our... More

Stayed at Hotel de la Paix for my last night in Paris after returning from a side trip to neighboring Belgium. The hotel is in a great location near Tour Eiffel and in close proximity to many restaurants, metro stations and a short walk to Hotel de Invalides. The room was small but was stylish, clean and very comfortable with... More

The hotel was clean, pleasant and just what we were looking for. Staff was very helpful and friendly, letting us check in early as soon as our room was ready. It is located near the Eiffel Tower and several museums, such as the Rodin. They suggested getting a shuttle back to CDG when we left and it saved a lot... More

Hotel de la Paix is located near a Metro station and has excellent restaurants and bars around. Breakfast can be skipped (I did not book it) as the Petit dejeuners around offer a great variety. For Paris standards, the place offers a nice and quiet room. Don't expect a fancy lounge or much space. But for a weekend stay it... More

A friend and I stayed at this cute little boutique hotel for 4 nights. Location is perfect. It is about 4 blocks from the Eiffel Tower and has lots of restaurants and shops nearby. You can walk to many sites, or take the Metro which is just 4 blocks away. The hotel room was very small, but adequate for 2... More

A friend and I met in Paris and spent four nights in this lovely hotel. Our room was on the 4th floor with 2 twin beds, small bathroom with shower, desk, closet storage area, safe and chair. Not very large, but extremely clean and comfortable! The woman who checked us in was very helpful! We arrived very early in the... More

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
