My daughter, granddaughter, her friend and I spent 6 nights at this lovely hotel. We had adjoining rooms on the second floor and the rooms are large for Paris, the location is very convenient and there are many places to eat. The Metro stop is only a block away. The staff is extremely helpful and were always happy to answer... More

Our 10-day stay at the Villa D'Estrees while celebrating our 20th anniversary in Paris in December could not have been more perfect for my wife and I and our kids. The hotel is small and charming with only 10 rooms over 5 floors. We had the two adjoining rooms on the top floor and thus the entire floor to ourselves.... More

I stayed at Villa d'Estrees for 4 nights with my mom and my son in early March. We had both rooms on the 3rd floor, so we had one of each room type. My mom was in the double deluxe, and my son and I were in the suite deluxe with the beds split into twins. The suite deluxe photo... More

My wife and I spent 5 nights at this small hotel in Paris. There are only 10 rooms and the hotel has five floors. The staff is extremely helpful and the rooms are very nice and large by Paris standards. Location wise you can't do better. The St. Michelle metro station is one block away, you can walk to the... Really lovely room, great location- everything walkable and very friendly reception staff- the lady also gave us a map and recommended areas to go visit. Only improvement would be tea & coffee making facilities in the room- otherwise great!

I booked the Hotel Villa d'Estrees after reading the positive reviews on here and I must say that they are all spot on! The hotel is located a stones throw from the St Michel Metro station (closer than it looks on the map) and the river is at the end of the street. Within five minutes walk is Notre Dame,... More

Fabulous hotel, great service, perfect rooms, quiet, location was superb for sight seeing. Quick walk to end of street and there is the Seine and Notre Dame and the Louve. Multiple restaurants with a close walk to all from casual to dressy. GREAT FOOD ! Also plenty of shopping close by.

Small boutique hotel in a great location. The room was clean, comfortable and wide. The staff was very helpful, especially the concierge Letitia, that gave us a map with local tips of restaurants and shops. Since we were in a honeymoon the hotel also gave us a box of chocolates and flowers in different days, making our 10-day stay even... More

Excellent small hotel, located very central in St. Germain. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. Kind and helpful staff. We had a fine room at top floor. A bit noisy during nighttime due to the bars in direct neighborhood.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
