Rooms are small but priced well for the neighborhood in Paris. Close to the subway and the tour Eiffel. The hotel arranged for my friend to stay in an adjoining room so we could visit in our rooms. I enjoyed the hotel staff. The woman who runs the breakfast buffet is especially sweet and memorable. I plan on returning to... More

Very enjoyable stay at Cler. When you arrive from the train or plane there is easy access to the hotel via the metro (tube/subway). The Cler street is beautiful, very safe lots of restaurants and a few clothing shops. It's what you imagine Paris to be from the movies. Cler is located in the 7th district very near the Eiffel... The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent, on our favourite street in Paris. The hotel itself is new and nicely decorated. There were a few downsides, however. Firstly, the street noise was quite loud at night and we were 5 floors up, though that says more about the street itself than about the hotel. The other downside to the... More

The reviews we read painted a different picture. Although recently renovated and quite clean. The room was so small. The night manager was fine however the manager the following day was rude dismissive and completely unhelpful. We would not stay there again.

Dear Guest, Our Hotel is located in an beautiful historic part of Paris, it is true that the buildings in the 19th century were not large and the size of our rooms are well indicated in our website. they match with the Parisian standard size. All of our rooms are delicately decorated for a very cosy and charming feel and... More

Just back from 4 days in Paris and stayed here in a triple room with my 2 friends. Not much space for 3 women competing for wardrobe space but we managed well and the shower is fab!. Brekky available - cereals, yoghurts, scrambled eggs, toast, croissants etc. Lovely staff and the hotel is on Rue Cler which is a great... More

I have been to Cler Hotel for 5 working days during a business trip last march 2015. The hotel was freshly renovated. I found a resting place with conmfortable furnitures and a relaxing environement. I appreciated the situation, clise to the Eiffel Tower and to the authentic Paris I was seeking to see. Also, I had the pleasure of meeting... More

Rooms are small, as usual in Paris, but clean, modern, well furnished and equipped (very small cupboard, though!) The lift is extremely narrow - You could use it to measure the size of your hand luggage - not for claustrophobics! The location is very good: Rue Cler alone is a discovery: very quiet and full of food shops of high... More

I recently stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, and found that the staff were very friendly and willing to help, specifically the 2nd/3rd shift guy - tall, thin with glasses (don't remember his name!). Anyway, he was very helpful, even when we checked in and my debit card from the US was not working (after already calling my bank),... More

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
