I spent 2 nights here and was very happy. The hotel staff gave me great directions, provided info on places to see and eat, and helped me with my cell phone. For a non-french speaker, this was a blessing. My stay was at the end of a two week trip in France and I had spent the previous 10 days... More

Me and 3 of my friends went to paris for a weekend, and it was my responsibilty to get a hotel. I booked this one and then was told to read the reviews. After reading them I was horrified-bed bugs!! And rooms that looked like they had been searched by police! I unfortunately booked the non cancellation way. Upon arrival,... More

Thank you for your nice comments and for your time. Our hotel has actually been renovated during a few months. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay after being scared with the old feedback you have read. We hope we'll have the pleasure to welcome you again with your friends or family. Kind regards, Thomas Civet More

There was an odd smell in our bathroom which wasnt very plesant. The rooms are small and cramped. I would recommend staying at a hostel over this place.

The Hotel Garden is in a nice area, it's cheap enough and is well connected for transports. However, it's currently under renovation which means that there is building work happening although this is only disturbing if you are planning a lie in. No breakfast room on offer due to the works but frankly there's a really nice bakery just down... More

On getting there i found that no one spoke any english, the cafe/breakfast room was under renovation so no breakfast, there was no wifi and too my horror upon reaching my room the beds were all flipped over as if it had... We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this 'hotel' which would more accurately be called a hostel. I think your experience would depend on which room you had been allocated. When we arrived we were put into room 101 (ominously!) and it was hideous - view of a wall, tiny dark room and bathroom with broken shower... More

Pros: nearby park for kids, 5 min to metro, supermarket close by, bakery close by, you can easily have your own breakfast and supper in the room, quite clean, very kind staff, especially the bold guy, speaking good English, making reservation to the airport, keeping the trolley Cons: basic breakfast (bread, jam, butter, coffee, tea), had to do almost all... The old lady that works there was very friendly, but she just gives keys without any single word of english or explaining. The wifi didnt work, nor did the tv. The room was old and some things broken, but not too bad. The bedbugs just ruined it for us! Until now we are itchy. I have more than 20 bites,... More
