If you're planning to use the subway / Metro to get around, this place is the best. Not a "walk to the Eiffel Tower" hotel but only 90 feet from the Pernety subway stop (you see the hotel sign as you exit) this quiet neighborhood has lots of decent restaurants (the Chineese Trattoria is a fast, cheap, good - they'll... more

We decided to stay at this hotel as it was mentioned in the Alastair Sawday guide. We arrived at the hotel at the start of June and found that parts of the walls were ripped out and all floors were covered in plastic. It turned out the hotel was having major construction work but the website never mentioned anything before... more

I needed a place for one night after an overnight flight from the US, leaving the next am early from Montparnasse station. As noted by another reviewer, it's really about a 10 minute walk to the train/Air France bus, but it was an easy walk even with (rolling) luggage and you didn't have to depend on getting a taxi. The... more

We exited the Pernety metro stop, and the Apollon was 50m to our left. The staff was very friendly and helpful, esp. Yohann, the rooms recently refurbished, and rooms and bath were extremely clean. Typically small as Paris hotel rooms go, but plenty of room for my wife and me. The neighborhood along Rue Raymond Losserand is classic Parisian with... more

I spent 3 nights with my girlfriend in the hotel. We have chosen it for the price and situation close to train, metro and the city center. The quarter is a really nice one with a perfekt and trendy place to breakfast, brunch, eat and drink called "au metro". It`s directly in front of the metro station and a typical... more

Receptionist helpful when we arrived early. Bedroom small - not room for much more than the beds - no storage furniture at all. Did have effective double glazing and air conditioning. Bathroom reasonable, though shower cabinet small. Breakfast had decent buffet, though not as big a range as larger hotels. Claim that it is 3 minutes walk from Montparnasse station... more

The pluses: Location near a metro, fantastic desk service--better than any 5 star insofar as helpfullness, attitude and lots more, nice lobby to sit in, very clean, air conditioner, windows that shut out the noise. We had rooms 401 and 201. We never heard neighbors. Downside: very small and tiny rooms (to be expected in Paris and at this price)--used... more

I stayed at this hotel in February and again in March. I mainly chose it for proximity to Le Cordon Bleu, where I was taking cooking classes (it's a quick bus ride, a 20 minute walk, or an 8 minute bike ride). It's far from most of the sites, but a great place if you want a real Parisian neighborhood... more

On our vacation to Paris we choose this Hotel, which was somewhat off the track and bit obscure only based on Trip advisor's reviews and previously we were always happy in choosing hotels as per the ratings of Trip advisor.----- but this can not be said true this time. My wife and myself were in this Hotel for 3 nights in... more

A small comfortable hotel in a relatively quiet, 'normal' area of the capital. Away from the masses of tourists and attractions but only 100 metres away from the Metro (Pernety). We found plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel - enjoyed Il Gallo Nero on rue Raymond Losserand and a North African restaurant called Hamdous Ali on rue... more
