The worst Otel I have ever seen in my life. I only stayed one night and it was like a nightmare. The location of The Otel is in red light district of Pigalle. The room was very small and old decorated. Toilet and bathroom are very dirty. I paid 100 Euro per night to have a Nightmare. The breakfast was... More

I loved this quaint little French Hotel. I loved the feel of staying in a little bit of France. We took our three children aged 11, 14 and 15. The staff were wonderful. Rooms clean. Situated in what is known in France as the Red Light District. However, very safe to walk at night. Walking distance to Moulin Rouge with... More

The personnel is very friendly and welcoming, they kept my bag before and after check-in/out, The room was not perfect but the price is very good for Paris. Good bed and good shower, the location is excellent (1 min away from the station, Metro M /train (thalys, regional) /sub RER and buses.

The hotel pictures looks fantastic, but do not be fooled. The walls are paper thin, you can hear every word in he room next door, the staff are very friendly, but it is NOT a 3 star hotel, maybe a 1 star.

Hotel was being renovated during our stay but it is a small pokie place. From the dining area to our room and especially the bathroom. Staff are friendly, location is close walking distance to metro stations and bus stops. It is very close to moulin rouge and theatres. It is clean but very small with no tea/coffee provision in the... More

I was traveling with my 2 grown daughters. Our flight arrived in Paris at 8 am. We were met by our requested shuttle and arrived at the Hotel hours before check-in time. The smiling desk clerk was more than happy to let us go ahead and check in early. When we went to our room and found it was somewhat... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
