The hotel was located at the heart of Paris. The metro station Republique has good connection and nice atmosphere around. Nice cafes for breakfast and lunch and easy to get to all spots. I really like staying there and the staff was fantastic and very helpful. I will definitely stay there again.

This is a review for 'Hotel de l'Exposition - Republique'. I say this because some reviews say it is a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. They must be reviewing a different hotel. A dirty shower, not cleaned. Old durty carpet, threadbare linen. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Spoiled impression of Paris!!!

The worst accomodations I have ever experienced. Pubic hairs and semin stains as well as bed bugs. DO NOT book this hotel. I have pictures to disgusting to post.

The location is great-near to metro station with many sublines,the hotel is just a 2 star hotel,this says everything.A little bit expensive for what it offers.

The best part about the hotel is it is central, very close to the metro and not too far from Gare Du Nord Station. Thats about it. The elevator was the smallest one I have ever seen in my life. The hotel is in a good spot. It's near the metro, within walking distance of Chatelet and has good little restaurants and cafes nearby. We stayed for three nights in this hotel, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are way better hotels in Paris, for the same price. We won't complain about the usual Parisian hotel problems - small rooms, old-fashioned furniture, bad beds - this hotel's got them all.
