There was no A/C even though the hotel website says it has. Our room at the front was very warm and noisy as it overllooked a very busy road. The room was very basic but clean. The breakfast consisted of one roll, one croissant and one cup of tea - better value is to be had with the McDonald's breakfast... more

Although this hotel is not expensive, I would not recommend it to anyone. The room for two we had was not spacy and romantic at all. The furniture is very old. Service was not very friendly. Finding a proper hotel in Paris is not easy, but most youth hostels are better (and cheaper) than L'Exposition. more

I stayed with my family here for one night while on a trip to Paris and Disneyland. I'm a keen budget traveller and this attracted me because of the great price. The rooms were very small but were clean. There was no A/C which was a problem but we kept the window open and it was alright. The staff were... more

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel with my wife. This hotel offered everything we needed for a small price: a good bed, a clean room and a decent breakfast. The rooms are small, as in most hotels in Paris, but the bed was good and the bathroom was OK. We stayed at the 6th floor and had a nice... more

Booked a twin room for a two night stay with a friend to do some buying in the area. When we got to our room it was a double bed and, as much as I like my friend, I did not want to sleep with her! Reception admitted it was their error, but said they had no other rooms available.... more

Got a very good room rate here and was impressed, hotel is small and the rooms are small but nice,it has been renovated recently. The bathrooms are very well decorated as are the rooms, the staff were very friendly(pity I cant say the same for some of the other parisians I met!). The hotel is about 10 min walk to the... more

This hotel is a gem for the price! The only problem was finding it at first, then it was a snap. Very close to the Charles Michael metro stop. The room (106) was big for Paris standards with a modern bath (and an opening window). It overlooked a small garden, which in Jan. was dormant. They allowed me to check... more

This hotel is ugly. The average price per night was going to be 100 Euros. If it were 50 euros, that would not be so bad. We ended up going to another hotel. The room had bright yellow walls and orange curtains. It appeared to not have been updated for 50 years. The bedspreads were thin. The guy at the... more

Well located hotel on the place de Republique. Well served by many Metro lines made getting to and from the hotel easy. Hotel is small but offers excellent value for money, staff are very helpful. They didn't provide many towels in the room but gave us more on request. The hotel is perfectly clean and decent and in a good... more

Am staying here right now and am impressed. My room is quite large for Paris standards and I have a large bathroom and small balcony. Free wifi, so far no problems with noise at night - I am impressed for 54 euros a night! Will stay here again and definitely recommend it to my friends. more
