Really friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to help give us tourist information, directions and were helpful in letting us leave our luggage with them after we checked out. The room was tiny though, we couldn't get a suitcase through the small gap between the dresser/table and the wall of the en suite and had to... More

I stayed for 2 nights at the Campanile. The room was clean and of average size. It was conveniently located with a bus stop just across the street and subway station a 5 mins walk away. We reached 2 hours early and had to wait in the reception area to check in. The check in process was quick and hassle... More

Second visit to Paris this year, unfortunately had booked in advance the week after the atrocious killings. Possibly the smallest rooms ever and without a fridge!! Breakfast was very average with not much meat selection, only ham and cheese. No eggs hard French bread. Rather disappointing and unnecessary to be so tight a mon avis. Only hotel because of the... We arrived in Paris for an anniversary weekend on 13/11/15 and everything was lovely. Staff welcoming, room a good size, clean and comfortable. We went straight out to explore and had a great day, finishing with an excellent meal. The next thing we knew we were in the middle of a state of emergency and caught up in the terrorist... More

The hotel is right In the middle of at least 4 metro stations and a main station so it's easy to get to the sites whilst being far enough out that your not constantly bombarded by noise and tourists . The room was fairly small but a lovely and clean and bright double room with bath and shower in the... More

Staff were great, especially Danny - very helpful and lovely guy. Room was decent -comfy bed, wardrobe with ample hanging space, safe to put valuables in if needed, great tv with the option of English, if needed. Nice little smokers area downstairs near the foyer. 5 minute walk to restaurants, coffee shop and 10 minute walk to shops and the... More

The staff were great especially Charles. The room was big for Paris and the bathroom was perfect. We even had a tub! Will stay again next time in Paris. Area felt safe and had lots of great shops and restaurants within walking distance. Also 3 metro stations nearby too! Perfect spot to stay and get to every site you could... More

I would like to start off with the amazing service I got with the staff! I felt they went above and beyond to take care of me and my fiancé. Our room was small but it was clean and comfortable for our 3 day stay in Paris. We would defiently come back to this hotel. There's a couple of restaurants... More

Our room was tiny (you had to sit at a 90 degree angle on the toilet as there wasn't enough leg space), and you had to climb past the toilet to reach the shower which had a poor design and normally flooded the bathroom floor. Also, a dirty towel had been left by previous guest on the back of door... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
