Great hotel, easy to find only a few mins from metro, very clean, great staff. Would recommend. A great base for a visit. Free wifi, tea and coffee. Plenty of shops and restaurants walking distance of hotel. Montparnasse tower has great views of Eiffel Tower and city

I learned that every hotel in France is smaller than hotels in US. So don't want to tell how tiny it was. it has really good location, probably closest metro station is 15 mins away by walk(Montparnase) . I decided to walk to Eiffel Tower so it took 45 mins to get there. Area was very safe and quite. around... More

Stayed here as part of a group tour. The room and bathroom are really small and it is a bit of a tight squeeze. However they were clean, well-serviced. Reception and staff were very friendly and helpful in letting us know our surroundings and how to get around Paris . Breakfast was decent. It is suited for those who just... More

Nice clean hotel, nice staff. Small rooms but they had all you needed (great hot powerful shower, but tiny bathtub was hilarious). They could do with some soundproofing as we heard the neighbours slamming in/out of their room, but I've stayed in worse. Lovely residential but busy main street, clean and well appointed entry manned all the time so you... More

Stayed here for one night, and will be staying again. We walked to and from the eiffel tower, felt very safe and some lovely restaurants along the way. Supermarket right next door and tube stop a stones throw away. Rooms are quite small, but nothing different to most hotels in paris, small lift so beware if have large luggage

It was alright for a few nights. Didn't spend much time there as we was exploring Paris but the hotel did it's job. It was comfy. But it's not a hotel if you are claustrophobic... Tiny room, tiny corridors and the smallest lift I have ever been in.

Spent two nights here earlier this month. I'd say it's definately average and I wouldn't stay again. Decent location not too far from Central Paris. The room was dark and when we'd get back to the hotel room after dinner (say 8pmish?) the hallway was always dark, as in we could barely see a thing! Our room was clean, but... More

Very comfortable hotel. Big windows that open up to the street. Friendly staff. Breakfast not so good, sometimes didn't have cutlery or glasses for juice available for ages. Short walk to the train station. Overall enjoyed my stay, would stay there again!

The hotel was secure which was nice, but it had a tiny bathroom, especially the shower! The location was ok, not the greatest but close to one very nice patisserie with delicious chocolate eclairs! The Wifi only worked in the lobby which was frustrating, but the breakfast was good and the hotel staff were excellent.

We did not pre-book. Room was tired , dinner set meal only was appalling we were the only group in the restaurant.breakfast was full we had to wait for a table for 4 but first had to clear the previous occupants crockery as no staff were there. We pointed this out on paying and the lady told us she was... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
