We stayed at this hotel during our Top Deck tour of Europe, the hotel is close to train and bus stations and walking distance to restaurants and the bar staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small and as are the bathrooms, not really anywhere for you to put your suitcase. If you are there for more than a... More

Generally, a pleasant hotel. However, (and this is a big however) the internet service was poor from the start and frequently unreliable or completely down (several colleagues staying in the hotel reported the same issues, so this was not user error.) We reported the issue, but apparently nothing has been done to resolve it.

Great hotel for the money. The rooms are small, but they are well appointed and the staff is very helpful. There are several nice restaurants in the neighborhood and the bus stops practically at the door. Very convenient and cozy.

Booked this hotel via Superbreaks for a short break in Paris in May 2015. All reception staff spoke English and were very helpful with directions etc. Room was on the 1st floor at the front of the hotel, and was clean, modern and with a larger than average bed (great for my 6 foot 2" husband). Breakfast is buffet style... More

Nice hotel. Really central with quite easy access to metro stations. Room was compact but clean and fresh. The toilet/shower room was quite small and a bit of a challenge for my rather rotund companion!! The staff were very friendly and attentive, specially Sabine and Audry who made is fell really welcome.

Spent 2 nights in this hotel when we took a trip to Paris for my partners birthday. My personal view it's a decent little hotel with spacious rooms with everything you need because let's face it your in Paris your hotel room is just to sleep in. It's situated on a busy street which goes quite about 11pm which isn't... More

This hotel was a base for our group tour in Paris. Although it is not as central as other hotels and a 10 minute walk from the nearest metro, it provided a quiet, clean location where you could rest comfortably at the end of long days in Paris. The rooms are mostly small (compact) and very new with their furnishings.... More

Great hotel, easy to find only a few mins from metro, very clean, great staff. Would recommend. A great base for a visit. Free wifi, tea and coffee. Plenty of shops and restaurants walking distance of hotel. Montparnasse tower has great views of Eiffel Tower and city

I learned that every hotel in France is smaller than hotels in US. So don't want to tell how tiny it was. it has really good location, probably closest metro station is 15 mins away by walk(Montparnase) . I decided to walk to Eiffel Tower so it took 45 mins to get there. Area was very safe and quite. around... More

Stayed here as part of a group tour. The room and bathroom are really small and it is a bit of a tight squeeze. However they were clean, well-serviced. Reception and staff were very friendly and helpful in letting us know our surroundings and how to get around Paris . Breakfast was decent. It is suited for those who just... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
