This is not a perfect hotel, but the price is great and it works. The room is clean, although the standard's a bit poor, the shower needs improvement, but hey, no one should feel uncofortable at this place! The staff is welcoming and they speak English, also they wil help you with anything you ask for. The location is somewhat... More

Obviously no five star hotel however perfect for a holiday intended on exploring Paris. Right next to two of the main stations and lots of friendly little cafes nearby. Very confused by other reviews saying how rude staff were as they were very friendly to us and even gave us a complimentary breakfast every morning which we were not expecting!... More

I chose this hotel because of its location, conveniently near the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l'Est, but it is not in the best part of Paris and the surroundings appear seedy and run-down. However, it is easy to get to the main attractions in the centre of the city - a quick walk to the Château d'Eau... More

Amazing location close to both gare de l'est and gare du nord, clean room with a tv and private shower, large shower by Parisian standards. FYI the train doesn't run at night so u can take a bus (n140 or n143) from gare de l'est, a 2 min walk from the hotel, gare du nord is about a 7 min... More

That is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. First, it was very difficult to find it without using GPS. The district isn't the most beautiful and safe in Paris, though you can go by foot to many sightseeings (approximately 40-60 min and more). Second, the staff is very unpleasant. They didn't help with anything, moreover, lady who... More

stayed here recently for 3 days. Its cheap enough, but not really central to anywhere, and a really intimidating area. Would not have chosen to stay here if i knew how dangerous the area was. Plus the room was just gross, holes in the ceiling, and mice or rats crawling around. The bathroom door would only close half way. Our... More

The hotel is noisy and the room is very very basic. We could not sleep at night due to racket made by street people and road noise early in the morning. The room up keep also left a lot to be desired. The only good thing is the bed was comfortable. Booked three nights and moved after the first night.

We stayed here for one night at the end of August before getting an early morning train from Gare de l'Est, and the location for this (and for the walk from Gare du Nord upon arrival) can't be faulted. The area around the hotel has plenty of bars and restaurants of varying styles and price. The number of bars close... More

Stayed 1 night this weekend (Sept 14, Room 43). Avoid staying unless you are really desperate, nothing like any of the photographs shown. Extremely poor condition and filthy, dangerous lift and staircase. Please don't stay here.
