A very economical hotel for an excellent location. Service is good and it also offers breakfast. The best part about the hotel is its location. The metro is bang next to the entrance and there are cafes galore all around the place. There is a carrefour next to it, should you need any essentials. Easy walk to the eiffel tower... More

Second time we stayed here. Near Rue Cler and the Eiffel tower. Metro is just across the street. Got there on a market day and enjoyed the area very much. Hotel was clean and very quite (windows were double paned). Staff very friendly and made suggestions on various sites and restaurants.

You certainly get "character" at this hotel. Our room looked out onto the street and I must say was pretty. The elevator was something to experience and I think helped in reducing my claustrophobia issues!!! We could walk to the Eiffel Tower in about 10 minutes and were thrilled the Metro stop was just outside the hotel. Everywhere were cafes... More

Pros: Near to eiffel. Early checkin. Nearby restuarants. Easily available public transport, taxi or train. Cons: Tiny room. Tiny bathroom, difficult to take shower. Limited b'fast menu. No room service.

A very cheap option in a great location in Paris. You will be able to take a stroll to the eiffel tower. A block away from Rue Cler, a pedestrian zone and that is great place to sit eat and watch the locales. The best part about the hotel is being so close to the subway. Paris was extremely easy... Basic simple hotel with no frills in the center of a good neighborhood. If you can ignore the prickly check-in staff it's probably worth it for the location. The location is amazing with easy access to Eiffel Tower and really the metro access to Ecole Militaire is right in front of the door to the hotel. There is a Carrefour... More

Room was shiny clean, beds was very comfortable, location excellent. Breakfast very poor, and I cannot say that receptionist was a kind and helpfully person. At least one of two. If you have room with street view, be sure you will not sleep at night.

If it's your first time in Paris, on a budget, and want to be within a stone's throw away from the Eiffel Tower, this is an acceptable hotel. Be warned, however, that it has very small rooms with no air conditioning. You will hardly notice it from outside as it has just one door, a tiny hallway, and the reception... More
