Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in February. Location is excellent, as hotel is directly outside local metro station (ecole militaire) and is a 10 minute walk from the Eiffel tower. It is also within walking distance of many nice cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself is very basic, it has a small lift that can only accomodate 2... More

we had cancelled the hotel we had booked after the paris attacks but changed our mind at the last minute and all the hotels we tried were booked for the week-end,hence our ending up there. Yes the hotel is well past its sell-by date, it is seedy and run-down and needs urgent refurbishment, but it is ideally located right in... More

Granted located 10 minutes walk from la Tour Eiffel and 30 minutes from les Champs Elysees the location would be the envy of any 5 stars hotel. That is where the similarities end. The staff was very, very unprofessional. Might we add despicable? The cleanliness of the establishment was appalling. The amenities were non existent. Anytime the guests above our... More

This hotel could not have been in a better location for my husband and I's first trip to Paris!! I should first mention that I have traveled many places and stayed in many hotels and hostels and have very minimal needs. But this place exceeded them all! Located only a few feet from the ecole militaire metro line it offers... More

We've stayed there twice. Fab location in Rue Cler. Located dead in front of Metro station, and grocery was just steps from the entrance. Pleasant, accommodating, and helpful staff. Tiny elevator (at least it has one!) served our location on the third floor, overlooking Motte Piquet Ave. Safe and pleasant area, to boot.

Nothing special, but very good prices and amazing location just beside the tower... No problems were found, it Is ok for a 2 star hotel. I've been there twice and can recommend, at least if you are In honey moon or this kind of trip. Staff not smiling everytime, but answered all my questions...

We typically stay in the Rue Cler area and don't mind value owner-operated hotels as long as they are clean and safe. With the right expectations and a focus on location over luxury, then this will be a good budget Paris option. Rooms were adequately sized and clean with decent views and secure buzz-in entrance. Unbeatable safe location in front... More

If location is your focus, but you don't want to pay a fortune, then this hotel is a good choice. The elevator is very tiny. The staff was excellent, and went out of their way to help us feel welcome. There English is very good. They even printed out our boarding passes for us for our return trip. The rooms... More

Amazing location. 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, 10 minute walk to Napoleon's Tomb/ War Museum, 10 minute walk to Rodin museum, 20 minute walk to Orsay Museum, 30 minute walk to the Louvre. Besides the Eiffel Tower & Napoleon's Tomb we actually used the metro the whole time. The metro stop is literally right outside the hotel door,... More

This hostel has 1 worst man at the frontdesk, impolite and arrogant, he has no respect for customer! Anyway, you won't feel comfortable there, pay 100€ for terrible quality, and you won't sleep well! Also internet doesn't works well....

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
