We spent 5 nights at Leo Lagrange Hostel during our class excursion. It was seriously one of the most disgusting places I have ever been. The floors and the beds were dirty, the breakfast was awful and the neighborhood itself was very dangerous. One of the locals tried to attack the receptionist at the end of her shift. AVOID this... So dirty that the city dump would be an upgrade - not at all like other HI Hostels. It is not 24 hour access as you have to be out of your room for 4 hours each day. The building condition is dismal and desperately requires renovations due to serious neglect. The pipes near the sink had huge rust marks... More

In January 2014, my spouse and I booked our accommodations at the HI Hostel in Clichy. We decided to book here based on our past positive experiences with various HI Hostels. We assumed the hostel would uphold the same standard of cleanliness and helpfulness we had come to associate with HI. Unfortunately, it didn’t even come close. To start, we... More

The worst hostel in the universe. no hot water, no free internet, bad and rude security and management, old paint, mouldy, smelly and hopeless reception staff. Except for the young girl laura, she might help you out if you are nice to her. watch out for the big black night security guard, ......

We booked this only a few days before arriving, and knew it would be cheap. The rooms were clean, however there were no lockers in the rooms. The showers were awful, it took forever for the water to heat up and they were on a VERY short timer, so you had to keep pressing the button. Breakfast was crap, staff... More

This "hostel" was a nightmare. 1. Rooms are old and dirty, without furnitur (there are only the beds and a washbasin) 2. Bathroom is dirty, filthy and without hot water. 3. The staff is impolite, rude and concited. 4. The kitchen is very small, without right utensils, crusty and very smelly. 5. The breakfast-room is decrepit, the only good thing... More

No Common room Un - friendly athmosphire. No stopper in any W/Hbasin ( these cost less than 50 cents each ) Inadequate Kitchen facility and poorley kept. Dangerious... More

I stayed here for two nights in February 2013 as part of a group trip to Paris. This is an honest and true review of my experience. Firstly, yes, this is a basic hostel. I was in a room of three. In the rooms are beds, as well as some shelves, hanging space, and a sink. This was a very... More

A friend and I were trying to save money so were willing to rough and tough it a little more than we usually would have, but this place was pretty disappointing. The room was clean enough and sheets were included, but the bathrooms were poorly maintained with no toilet paper being replaced for an entire day. Freezing cold showers, unfriendly... More

Not the best hostel experience. Pay too much and get too little. Water was freezing cold, bathrooms very dirty, staff not welcoming or accommodating. wifi expensive, 2 euro for 2 hours and can only use it down in the lobby. rooms not the greatest, not the cleanest, but were passable. if you just need to find somewhere to sleep it...
