Clean room with shower and toilet. Very narrow stairs. We stayed on 5th floor. Quiet room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was a croissant and a piece of a white bread with jam and cheese and a glass of orange juice and coffee. The location is really great!!!! And with this price - I really recommend the hotel. Many nice restaurants and... More

I just got the hotel's email, and was wishing I could go again this year! I was there 18 months ago, packed into a triple room which was pretty tight but really ok and very reasonable. It's a great location - Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle super close and Pompidou Centre an easy walk. I loved Paris - my first... More

We have not stayed at this hotel yet.. so why am I writing a review? I have seen reviews published for other hotels, where people did not stay because reservations have been mixed up.. or they arrive to rude staff and dirty rooms and refuse to stay. They then write a review. Well.. this is the opposite, this is a... More

Location: - Hostel location is fantastic; city centre in a quiet street. Accomodations: - Rooms are small and not sound proofed. - Beds are small (around 1.80 - 1.90). - No lift available (6 floors) - Toilet and shower although small were clean. - Free Wifi available. (Unfortunately quite slow) - Normal but good breakfast Management: - Staff was friendly,... More

We have stayed twice at Marignan. The location is very convenient (Maubert Mutualité, St. Michel, Cluny la Sorbonne these metro stations are just around the corner) and hotel staffs are quite sympathic. You can use the kitchen and eat in the hall or there are plenty of nice ethnic restaurants around the hotel. The breakfast is abondant: croissant, baguette with... More

This hotel is perfect for its location. Prices are accordingly so decent. It's no fancy hotel, but being in such a perfect location is enough to make one stay there. Service and cleaning are good. Staff are very friendly. I would perhaps stay there again cause the location is simply worth it.

The best feature of this hotel is the location: near metro stops, RER stops and of course, Notre Dame de Paris. Le quartier St-Michel was also a fun find, only 10 minute walk away. The rooms are small but clean. No great sound proofing and I am glad my room was not located next to the bathroom or the shower.... More

Paris on a budget; people think is impossible but this gem makes that untrue. A more than adequate breakfast is included as well as free wifi, laundry and use of the kitchen. Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
