The hotel has 6 floors and does not have a lift! But the staff were cheerful and friendly, the costs was reasonable for a central Paris location and breakfast was OK. My room was in the roof ... but was recently renovated. Arriving late can be a problem as there are no staff on duty late (after 22.00) Generally value... More

My husband and I loved this place! You can't beat the location (we took the RER B from Charles de Gaulle airport to the Notre Dame station and it was a 10 minute was from the station), plus a lovely breakfast and friendly staff (recommended a great place for dinner). Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The... More

We were supposed to stay there for 4 nights. Had very bad experience in the first night - bedbugs bit my spouse and me everywhere. Woke up in the midnight. Found and killed quite a few on the bed with blood in the bug. Talked to the hotel guy, replaced all the bed sheets and blankets. It DIDN'T help. Bedbugs... More

Once again we did apologize for the major inconvenience. This unfortunately happens in all kind of hotels from one star to four star. Yes it is brought in by clients’ luggage. We do have a service company specialized in these issues. You did not pay for the night you stayed at the hotel, and we offered you other rooms for... More

We booked a room with attached shower but no toilet. However the common toilet is just outside our room and is very clean. The room is very small but we managed. Wifi in the room is not strong so you have to go to the lobby. As we are aware there is no elevators, we were glad to only move... More

My boyfriend and I were treated so well here! We loved it and will recommend this to anyone. Was very clean and exceptional service. Basic breakfast of baguettes and croissants with fresh orange juice and nice coffee. VERY helpful with getting around in the city. It isn't very fancy, but perfect in all other aspects.

We were able to stay at the Marignan just before Christmas. The location of the hotel cannot be beat, just steps from the champs élysées and Georges V but still quiet in the evening. We stayed in a family room, it was compact but clean, well laid out and suited all our needs. Two bathrooms and separate rooms for the... More

Very nice hotel, warming and charming. It's placed in a excellent location, next to the arc the triomphe and champs elysees. The rooms are confortable, clean, paceful and you don't have to worry about the weather 'cause inside the rooms you can set your own temperature. Always clean and the people really nice and caring.

My daughter and I love this family hotel and stay there every time we are in Paris. In the past 2.5 years, we have stayed there close to 10 times, and are recommending it to family and friends. I have been visiting Paris for over two decades and stayed at various hotels, including some top business ones but Hotel Marignan... More

This was a great hotel for the price. Prime location just one block away from Blvd. St. Germain, around the corner from Maubert-Mutualité metro station. Close to Blvd. St. Michel and Rue St. Jacques. Walking distance from the Seine, Notre Dame, Hôtel de Ville, the Cluny Museum, the Sorbonne, and lots more. Tons of stores and shops nearby, including anything... More

We've stayed at this hotel twice now and will choose it again next time we are in Paris. The hotel offers everything an independent traveler could want, and it's all included in the room rate: Wi-Fi; breakfast; use of the well-equipped kitchen; a washer and dryer with free detergent; a comfortable and clean room equipped with plenty of warm covers;... Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
