We stayed at the Hotel Marignan during the last week of June, in a room that accommodated all six of us. We had stayed here several years ago and like it so much we decided to return. Our children range in age from16 to 7, and we managed to all find places to sleep. The washroom was surprisingly large with... More

Comfy, clean and home away from home this little gem of a hotel. Ideally located in the heart of the Latin Quarter action, but in quiet street far enough away to be peaceful. Attention to detail from management excellent, breakfast served to you each morning - what more could anyone want! I'll return. Marg Malkin

We loved the location in the Latin Quarter within walking distance of everything! Accommodations are basic but clean. The worst part was climbing six flights of stairs after a long day of walking or with luggage. No elevator. Breakfast was good: baguettes, coffee or hot chocolate, and spreads. Staff was helpful. Offered use of kitchen which we never used.

This is a good hotel, very basic and centrally located. But the manager behaved peculiarly. He would get upset if people in our group showed up at different times for breakfast, even if it was well within the breakfast serving hours and the breakfast was just a simple tray of baguettes and coffee they had to carry out from the... We stayed here 5 years ago, and since that time it has been renovated and is a little newer, but still quite basic. We had problems with our room, and had to be moved on our second night. This was a bit of an issue at first, but then when we asked a second time, they were happy to accommodate... More

Thank you for your comments. The rooms are far from being basic. In three years we did major renovations. ( matress, plumbing, painting, lighting, furniture, curtain, bedcover, headboard, wifi...) and with quality products. We apologize for the inconvenience, you were moved in a better room (upgrade) Sincerely Roland KENIGER More

I had stayed here 20 years before and was not disappointed when I stayed again. There are two Hotel Marignans in Paris so don't get confused... this one on the Left Bank is only one star and therefore very affordable and the rooms surprisingly roomy compared to what I've heard from others. Breakfast is included and you can walk everywhere... More

We chose this hotel based on other TA reviews and we were not disappointed. The location was brilliant. Literally 5 mins from Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter though a walk in any direction from the hotel was charming and interesting. We had our grandchildren with us and they enjoyed the Jardins de Luxembourg with its adventure playground before bedtime.... More

On a very good area of Paris,50 m from Avenue des Champs Élysées a renovated and modern decorated hotel. Very comfortable beds in a good sized room and a very, very good bathroom with shower facilities a la americaine. Silent at night.Silence also at bar and restaurant. Also expensive, it is a good choice.

Booked this hotel over it's location and pricing. We were not disappointed. It's few minutes walk from stations with direct link to airport, surrounded by restaurants, bakery, shops, fast food outlets as well as supermarket. Love the walk along the river, many world famous landmarks including Notre Dame also within walking distance. Area is well lited, popular with tourists and... More

This is a delightful little family-run hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter, a 10-minute walk from Notre Dame, with an amusing whiff of Fawlty Towers about it (for those familiar with the 1970s BBC sitcom written by John Cleese) in terms of staff squabbles and minor screw ups. We've stayed here a couple of times and found everyone... More
