I booked 2 rooms in this hotel for my partner, parents and nieces because the neighborhood seemed relatively close to areas of interest to us. When we got there we found the place to be in a much more deteriorated condition than the pictures showed. We ended up being extremely disappointed with our stay here. I'm a constant traveler because... More

The room was small but adequately fitted and clean. Bathroom was functional with a good shower. The room was quiet and air conditioned. Staff were friendly and helpful. Situated in the heart of the Latin quarter and a short walk to the main restaurants and shops in this area. Close to the metro and good bus links to Gare St... More

We stayed for four nights. The room was comfortable but very small. There was not enough room to put our luggage without tripping over it. The shower was so small that if you turned around you risked turning the tap off with a body part. The shower curtain stuck to your body most of the time. The location is okay.... More

The hotel is conveniently located 5 mins walk to Luxembourg garden & a metro stop. Check in was quick & efficient. The room itself was small and basic, with balcony overlooking the main road, though there was no problem with any noise from outside. The room had a wardrobe which was sufficient for our 2 night stay, a safe which... More

I went in april this year for my school trip to france. Its was in the heart of the latin quater. it was quiet. they have two sides. if you stay in rooms 101-105 the rooms are bigger. The food was good. But the first night our rooms was double booked but we did eventually get a room.

AMAZING LOCATION! I stayed here on the 7th and it was the best location I could have hoped for. The service was average but I Would highly recommend this hotel for the great quality buffet breakfast, plus the rooms were bigger then average european hotels and clean. Perfect!

Just returned from a stay here. Hotel ideal for a stay in a great location. Close to RER line so connecting to the whole city is easy. Reasonable prices for Paris. Triple room, clean , plenty of hot water available, comfortable beds and quiet at night. Staff friendly and courteous. Would have no hesitation returning in the future

We stayed here for 5 nights but would not return. Room very basic-no bar soap (pump shampoo in shower, pump soap next to sink), no facial tissue, no drawers (a few small shelves in closet). The air conditioning did not cool the room and did not have a working indication of temperature (room 202). Sink did not drain properly. Lights... More

Hotel is very clean, and our room was a little bigger than typical size for European hotels. It was perfect for two friends. A/C and big window were great during the heatwave. The area is very close to the metro, Luxembourg Gardens, St. Michel ... There is a small convenience store nearby that closes at 1 am. There are many... More

Stayed here with friends over the weekend - we had a triple room and it was nice and clean and comfortable. There was enough space for three of us and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. The area around the hotel was lovely - walking distance to the gardens and local bars and restaurants.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
