Great location. Room on the 6th floor with a nice view on the roofs. The room was recently decorated and gorgeous. Perfect location too at an affordable cost. Free Wifi too. Building site still in one bit of the hotel but not the side we stayed in. We stayed in a family room and the beds were very comfortable. Not... More

Good hotel for the quality/price and location. 6m Walk from the Metro and the Panteom. 15m walk from Notre Dame. The room was perfect for a couple and the staff were very nice. The food was not included but around are several restaurants/pasteries.

Ok, so the good points. The location is very good, short walk to the RER that brings you directly to CDG, about a 15 minute walk from Notre Dame, it has free wi-fi and the room was clean and a decent size. The bad points...it's a building site. The lobby is a hard hat area, we had no hot water... More

We arrived at the hotel for our romantic stay in Paris not expecting a five star experience but somewhere welcoming, cosy and warm. We were greeted by a building site - literally. The staff were very pleasant but explained that there were building works going on and that there would be noise from eight in the morning. They were right-... More

Got out the taxi, the hotel is obviously being renovated, looks like a crack house. The lobby is dusty like I just went back in time to ancient Egypt, I take that back the Egyptians were much cleaner. Few loose cables hanging from the walls just in case you decided to hang yourself due to the poor service during your... More

As to what was good, is the location of the hotel- close to Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris. Regarding bad issues: 1) the room did not have a heating, so it was cold even in September; 2) the breakfast was poor with very few types of food to choose; 3) the room has a window to an internal ''shaft" (not to... Hello, we stayed two nights in this petit Hotel in Le quartier Latin. The Hotel is located very closed to St. Germain and to the Notredame cathedral (wallking distance 15 min.) It has a modern hip style, you recognize him easily from its colour (lilac) which pops out from the rest of the buildings in the street. Rooms are little... More

Me and my partner stayed here recently, we were upgraded for free to a larger room and it was great. The facilities in the room were brilliant, we would stay in this hotel again if we were to visit Paris. The staff were also very nice.

By Parisien standards, this hotel is good value for money. Spotless and tastefully decorated rooms, and a good breakfast. Great location in the Latin quarter (plenty of Velib stations nearby for renting a bike, plus close to the metro).

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
