Not for me. Walls are made of paper and you can hear all your neighbours. You'd not be able to sleep until very late not matter if weekday or weekend. The patios where also used at night for drinking and smoking so if your room overlooks noise and smell comes up, even with windows closed. Rooms are too small. Considering... More

We arrived at a late time but had given a late check in. When we arrived we were locked outside with a 1 year old baby and a 60 year old women in the rain late at night. We had no way of getting in and was not given any instructions prior to this. Luckily someone who lived in the... More

We stayed as four friends in one of these apartments. It was so lovely, the apartment felt very safe, the guy who welcomed us was polite and efficient. The place was clean, very cute and very comfy. Beware if you are very tall - the two story apartment was about an inch shorter than me - 5ft 6 If you... More

I have mixed feelings about this place. It's pretty quaint and comfortable, and the grounds are great, and so is the location. But I feel like it is overpriced and the check in was abrupt and rushed. There's a small kitchen but no oils or spray to cook with. The dishes were dirty and there was only one roll of... More

Was so happy with this booking. I had recently gone through a family bereavement which meant we had to rebook this apartment. But they were so helpful and emailed me frequently. The apartment itself was so quaint, decorated and designed so well that I wished it was my own home! We both would be happy to stay here again. We... More

Loved the small room! Very cozy and comfortable. you have everything that you need in the room, bathroom and the small kitchenette. the room look very historic with the large timber beams and bits of stone walls on the inside. As a person who loves historic buildings, this was right up my alley. Although we where there in august and... More

The apartment, although small, was well planned and fit for purpose. Kitchen not great, but it suited our needs as we mostly ate out. Great for the Marais, but far enough away to be very quiet at night. Outside space was good. I certainly recommend this for a sight-seeing trip, and will use it next time I go to Paris... More

As the title of the review suggests... we were deeply harrowed with the late check in policy.. it is very troublesome to land in Paris on a Sunday with everything closed and last deal with a small baby and no place to change diapers till 330 pm :( But nicer part was...that we were lucky to find the hotel owner... Not often one gets to compare apartments on a single visit. This time it was the case. 1st apartment although small, as are most in Paris, was neat, clean and fresh. The view from the second floor apartment was worth lugging a suitcase up those tiny little never ending stairs. Sqeezing two onto a sleeper couch for a night is... More

Our family of four LOVED this apartment. Location was splendid. The decor was great. Very comfortable. Nice to be able to cook some meals, yet be so close to great restaurants. And having laundry facilities was awesome - being on a 4 week trip with one backpack each! Lots of really good asian food and bodegas in the neighborhood. We... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
