I was greeted with go sit up there, when he came to me asked for money then told , second floor, small spiral stair case, turn left right, then left. No help at all . I'm a 60year old single lady. Later I saw this man and I said when I booked I ask for a groung level room ,... More

Cute little place, small yes they all are in Paris, read the information pack before you arrive so you wont be surprised. The apts are not serviced during your visit, check out just leave the keys on the table. If you want a concierge service and daily cleaning book a hotel and pay the price, perfect location to explore the... More

A family visit .The manager was out of reach except by phone. The cleaning was below average. Boiler electric water was next to bed.We paid 25€ for the first day of cleaning. Inside the complex a hand craft workshop is making noise from 8:30.Very late check in, very early check out, and that by mail. No one was there, except... More

The positives are: good communication, clean, good location. The negatives: very small room, little in amenities, such as wash cloth, paper thin and small towels, etc. If you are a light sleeper you might have trouble as you can hear neighbours. We were "entertained" by a angrily screaming woman for two hours one night.

During my stay at this hotel, the apartment next to the place we stayed was under renovation. It was very noisy and we did not have a good stay there for 2 days. Besides, we also booked another room at block B, the design of the room is very inconvinient for us as there were a few senior citizens. The... More

Upon arrival you can only checkin altogether with the other guests at 3:30pm, no reception or anybody to talk to upon arrival. What's more scary is the steep stairs going up to the rooms considering that I have big luggages. Also very disappointed because having five of us in a unit and only one device can connect to wifi at... More

Les Patios du Marais are very well situated in close vicinity to the Centre Georges Pompidou, right around the corner of the Marais proper. In contrast to some of the earlier ratings on here, we did not have to wait for admittance at all and were greeted upon our arrival at the arranged time. That being said, there are quite... More

the location of the hotel is great, you can walk everywhere you want to. the metro and bus stations are close. there are also several markets and restaurant nearby. don't expect a classical hotel room. the room was a lot smaller than it looked in the photos. it has everything you need, a small kitchen and a small bathroom but... This is a complex of apartments near a lovely area near the Rue des Archives. We found check in poorly executed, with harried staff who obviously wanted to be minimally helpful. Ran out of basics such as hangers, took significant time to respond to issues, and we're not present on premises except at times of crisis. Sound proofing nonexistent, which... More

I agree with other reviews. The location is brilliant, but ... The shower has no water pressure, is incredibly small and doesn't seem to have a middle setting (either scolding hot or freezing cold). There are fish moths crawling along the bathroom floor. The bed and pillows are in desperate need of replacement. The walls are paper thin, as are... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
