I loved, adored this hotel. If you are looking out for the typical french style, this is the place to go. This is a boutique hotel, member of the small luxury hotels of the world. The staff is amazingly helpful. The rooms have a lovely decor. Every detail is taken care of. The beds are cozy, perfect size. I have... More

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough! I stayed here with my wife for her 30th Birthday weekend, and we had an absolutely amazing time. We stayed in Room 60 and had an incredible view of the Effiel Tower from our private balcony, as well as a lovely panorama of the rest of Paris. The room was lovely and spacious,... More

This was the first stop on our European vacation, and what a lovely way to start out! The hotel is small and elegant, on a vey quiet side street, but very close to the Champs Elysees. The linens were wonderful, very nice marble bath, view of the street and an inner courtyard. We walked everywhere, and found the hotel to... More

We just spent the last week at Hotel San Regis and it was truly one of the loveliest vacations we've ever had. The hotel is truly beautiful and elegant, yet remains cozy and warm, all at the same time. Our room, a Junior Suite (Room 20) on the 3rd floor was lovely and overlooked the street. And, although there were... More

I stayed at Hotel Saint Regis with my wife during our last visit to Paris. Extremely comfortable accommodation, friendly and efficient staff and perfect location, A small and heartwarming place with impeccable service.

We travelled to Paris on the Orient Express to celebrate our anniversary, having stayed in Paris several times previously we were not sure what to expect when we were recommended to stay at the San Regis by Orient Express. Is all i can say is WOW what a lovely hotel, the staff were so helpful and friendly, our room was... More

I read some of the other reviews and wonder if an entirely different staff was on duty during our 8 nights at the San Regis. Every staff member was cordial, efficient and professional. When we ordered a bucket of ice each afternoon, it arrived in 3-4 minutes. When my spouse needed a new curling iron, the concierge had a brand... More

We recently re-visited one of our most favorite hotels -- San Regis in Paris, a block from the Grand Palais. The staff are discerning, courteous and ever-capable. Reservations to the Biennelle exhibition and Lassere restaurant were easily handled with a few hours notice. (Staff sharing pet photos and cooing over pictures of pet members of the family was a plus.)... More

This is another 3 star hotel that gets a 5 star rating, but some rooms are better than others. We were shown to Room 64, a cramped tiny space smothered in...BLUE. Blue was everywhere, on the walls, on the curtains, everywhere. The same fabric from the curtains was plastered on the wall. There was no escaping it. If the room... More

I was first introduced to the San Regis in 1969 by my mother in law, a fashion designer, who had been coming to the hotel since the mid 50s. My first wife and I were in a small suite while Diane was given her usual large suite. Quiet and elegant and quintessentially French, my wife (who had been there before... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th-century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
