I stayed with a friend at the San Regis for the second time in October 2008. We had been there a year earlier and had a wonderful stay on the second floor. As SLH club members, we were suppsed to get an upgrade. We did not. We would have settled for a clean, quiet, private room. This time we got... more

Very pleasant hotel in a convenient quiet location. Easy walk to Seine or Champs Elysees and Metro stop is less than 5 minutes. Staff was particularly helpful and attentive. This was a special occasion and we opted for the junior suite with the Eiffel Tower view--Tower view from private balcony (especially at night) is very impressive. "Boutique" nature of this... more

My company booked me here but this is hardly a corporate hotel. It's a time machine. The wake-up call is done by humans. The TV turns out without endless menus to navigate. The architecture is very non-corporate: windy stairways and cozy living rooms here and there. Good water pressure - but that's the only down-side: the taps were old so... more

Firstly I should say that I am writing this review for my parents who are not so computer friendly as I! I'm prompted to write it as my husband and I have just come back from a much more budget weekend in Paris and my mother is still regaling us with stories of their trip on the Orient Express to... more

This hotel is perfect. The concierge/managers were so helpful with everything and gave us great recommendations. The hotel is so quiet that to get in after 10 or so the doorman has to unlock the front door. The breakfast is great and the staff so friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had was that the doormen oftentimes did not... more

A small hotel with individually decorated rooms. I got an upgrade upon check-in to a really charming top-floor room. Breakfast a typical continental one and location is good if you happen to like Champs-Elysees area. Although I would recommend the hotel, I will probably stay in some other property on my next visit to Paris. more

We had a fantastic stay at this little hotel in the 8th arr. It's a converted mansion on a quiet street, but the location is very central - it's an easy walk to the Seine, the Champs Elysee, the Place de la Concorde... Our deluxe room was really charming - not huge I suppose, but beautifully decorated with antiques and... more

Stayed at the San Regis a couple of time on work. Great location in a classy area with the major designers nearby. Loved the decor of the dining room. The rooms were larger than the usual Paris hotel though still a little cramped. The staff were helpful, attentive and friendly. The food is good with room service available until late.... more

The San Regis is a gorgeous boutique hotel located in the very upscale Eighth Arrondissement. Although only a block and a half away from the Champs Elysees, it is on a quiet side street, thus providing the advantage of a central location without street noise. The public areas and hallways of the hotel are decorated beautifully. My room was a... more

I just returned from a 4 night stay at the San Regis. I can not begin to tell everyone how wonderful the experience was. This was a surprise trip for my wife and not being familar with Paris I recieved alot of help from Jean-Francois, the concierge, in arranging everything. From tour guides, to transportation, to restaurant reservations to help... more
