This hotel is comfortable enough with a very good location at a 10 mns walk from the Champs-Elysees and surrounded by good restaurants. I cannot complain about our stay there in terms of comfort, except for the fact that, in spite of 4 confirmations with the hotel for an extra bed for our 7-year old child, they said that none... Hotel was quite wonderful - did have a bit of a British feel so don't be surprised by that. The room was more than expected and lovely. I had a view of the Eiffel Tower which was quite a treat! Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Some members of the staff were a bit brisk -but put it down to the culture... More

A friend recommended Hotel Franklin D. Roosevelt and I agree--it's a charming small hotel in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the Metro. Beautiful, very French decor (seemed to be recently updated). Nice bedding/linens in our room, and a comfortable sitting area/lounge just off the lobby. Small, charming bar. Friendly staff who speaks English and appreciated my broken French!... More

We stayed here in July 2015. This is a relatively small, but very cozy and well-maintained hotel close to Champs Elysees (5-7 minutes walk). The room was not big, but clean and well kept. The reception staff were super helpful - they quickly addressed all our needed, booked taxis and restaurants, explained how to get around, etc. The breakfast does... More

Wonderful small hotel, located close to all attractions in the most elite area. Friendly staff. Not the most upmarket hotel like George V, but location better. Has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. The earlier you book the better the price. No gym but if you want exercise can jog to,the Eiffel Tower, or up and down the Champs... More

The hotel is located within easy walking distance of many well-known places. A few hundred metres from the Champs Elysees, about the same to Avenue Montaigne and the Seine. If the weather permits, one can walk to the Elysee Palace, Rue du Faubourg St Honore, Place de la Concorde, Blvd St Germain, etc. The room was bright although we did... More

Comfort and great location. Favorite everytime we visit Paris. Several bistros in the neighbourhood and a short walk to Champs Elysées and other famous locations. Value for money if you are on a holiday not looking for the larger 5 star hotels for work.

I stayed at this hotel many times over the years. It's always reliably clean and efficient. I don't need lots of amenities, just friendly sevice, rooms that work, reasonably priced, and quiet. The rooms are not huge but two of us always find a way to deal with 2 suitcases. I prefer the rooms without a view since they are... More

I stayed at the Franklin Roosevelt Hotel for a few nights to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The hotel is gorgeous and is in a great location. There are wonderful cafes on the same street of the hotel and the Eiffel Tower is a short walk away. However, we did not receive the service we are accustomed to while staying in... More

While the hotel is old and the rooms are small, it was compensated by its cleanliness and service. Location is great within walking distance of key landmarks as well as shopping. Breakfast was good and hotel amenities standard of a four star - but adequate for a tourist who wants to spend most of the time visiting the city. Big... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
