We enjoyed a weekend stay in one of the 5th floor, 3-person, family rooms, which had great character and very good amenities. Although the room had limited space, there was everything we could wish for and the standard of cleanliness was first class. In our view, the Hotel Massena offers a fantastic value for money and boutique-style experience, which is... More

I have always preferred this neighbourhood for the ease of connections. The hotel and the area are clean and friendly. After my husband and I stayed recently at a USA-owned business/luxury hotel in Paris, I couldn't wait to get back to Massena. The staff are great too!

I booked this hotel much before, since I had a tight budget so this hotel was perfect as it showed its quite close to the famous Champs Elysees. However, it was a 30 mins walk one way which was little disappointing. Coming to the hotel, we had requested a triple sharing room as we were 3 of us, we did... More

Stayed here for 3 nights on my own. Single room had two single beds in it and was perectly comfortable. Very clean. Would have liked a safe and coffee making facilities but no issue otherwise. The reception staff are all lvely as is the lady making breakfast. Very good continental breakfast with cereals, croissants, ham, eggs, cheeses, jams etc and... More

I stayed here for 1 night on the Sunday night of the tour de France due to my wife's passport went missing. We were not having a good day because we had a lot of problems and this hotel is about 10 blocks from the U.S. Embassy and needed to go there early Monday morning to get an emergency passport.... Very good four night stay - rooms small but when in Paris who wants to spend all day in it ! The bathrooms are lovely - spotless Air con good with quiet from Main Street. I would book this hotel again as a single traveller in same room type, if for two people I'd request a suite or twin as... More

Why this heading? Well my travel companion and I had separate rooms (which by the way are rather small) and in her room the safebox was placed beyond her reach. So she unfortunately used the minibar as the safe, putting some cash in a purse in the back of the fridge. On the second day the minibar had been restocked,... More

Located near Madeleine metro which is very convenient. It is also located near Printemps (5-10 minutes walk) and Galeries Layette (10-15 minutes walk). It is also located near Fauchon where you get buy nice chocolates and macorons. Room is small but clean, however it can be noisy as it is located near the main road. Staff is super helpful.

Stayed here on a business trip. The Massena is optimally located a couple of steps from the Madeleine metro stop so you can zip to your meetup in no time. Very nice neighborhood with loads of shops and restaurants right across the street. Room was small (typical in Paris) but very clean, modern, and stylish bathroom. My room was not... More

Very nice, cosy, clean, friendly, helpful, and centered in the Madeleine-opera area . I loved their breakfast; brief, fresh croissant and baguette, typical French yummy breakfast to start your day :) this was my second time to stay in Hotel Massena and I definitely recommend it for business or pleasure :) Big thanks to all your team stuff .

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
