Small hotel in a quiet street. Fast access to all major sights in Paris. Within walking distance from Panthéon, Luxembourg, boulevard St Michel. Bath room was small but very clean, good enough for a short stay; Staff is very helpfull and friendly.

Having just come back from a two day stay at this hotel, I have nothing but excellent things to say about it. I wish I could write two reviews to be able to award it a 10 on 10! The rooms (I stayed in 19 and 8) where fabulous and clean. They aren't big rooms but that is the charm... More

Excellent location, a block away from the metro (10/yellow) and 5 blocks from the RER B and C. A block away from St. Germain blvd with many food possibilities. Area is safe and relatively quiet. Near Notre Dame, Pantheon. The hotel itself is an old quaint converted building. The room was VERY large, especially by European standards. We had a... More

The hotel is welcoming with it's homely feel. No matter if it is day or night, it is warm, cosy and inviting. Cleanliness is of a superb standard- the chambermaids do an excellent job. The breakfast is good and sets you up for the day (we were still full in the evening) Location is excellent and you can catch buses... More

Perfect location, very good and clean hotel, excellent stuff, very nice decoration! I would stay in the same hotel in my next visit to paris! A lot of restaurants and bars around the hotel and there is a metro station closed to it! It is very comfortable to visit all the historical sites in paris by the metro and to... More

this is a mid size Marriott hotel, well located. The lobby is welcoming, and luminous, direct access to a nice bar and restaurant, with WiFi. I like the rooms too, cozy and confortable, more like a little homee studio than an impersonal hotel room. the day was sunny, and the Japanese shade in the room was giving the sensation to... More

The staff was helpful from the time we made reservations until we checked out. They helped us book excursions and did a lot of leg work to help us out. The hotel was in a great location. The room was really clean, spacious and modern. The breakfast was very nice.

We travelled in July. Wanted to be in Paris for July 14 and also see the fireworks display at the Eiffel Tower. My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in Paris, our very fist time in Paris. We loved the location and the old style of our Hotel. We had a room on the second floor facing the main... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
