This charming hotel was featured in Hepburn's film Charade, and it has lost none of its appeal. Decorated in a Belle Epoque style, it has grace without ever being stuffy. Immaculately clean, elegant and warm, with attentive staff and terrific breakfasts. Wonderful restaurants nearby and a short walk to Notre Dame.

been here with my family, it is a small hotel but the service is fantastic and the location is the best, so close to the historical places and a good place for the night walk in the romantic streets of Paris

What a lovely little Parisian hotel very close to the Notre Dame. Located in a lovely area with great restaurants nearby and many cafe's. Rooms were clean and sweet.Good breakfast, delightful staff. Only con would be a small elevator - this wasn't a problem for me as I was happy taking the stairs but I was on the 5th floor... More

Friendly welcome and very comfortable for a one night stay in January 2015. Only slight negative was the thin walls, but maybe we should have got up & going at Paris earlier! Would certainly stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Rooms are small, but beautifully done. Great staff and breakfast. It was a full breakfast, with fruit, bread, salmon and yogurt. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Small, boutique hotel in the Latin Quarter.

After reading about this hotel's cinematic history and charm, I was really looking forward to staying here during our European travels (May 2013). And while it has a nice location, the feeling is more stuffy than charming. Pro: Location Con: You need large old fashioned keys to enter the room and can here everybody fiddle with them while in the... More

Dear Christine W, Firstable we are very surprised that it took you 8 months to write your review. You mentione about the" large old fashioned keys", in Europe and exactly in France, not all of hotels have magnetic keys. This is our choice and we never have any reviews on Internet about that as it is not the kind of... More

I stayed here back in 2010 with my wife and daughter. We had a triple room which was very comfortable and clean. More importantly, the staff was very helpful (with the reservation, restaurant reservations and recommendations, taxi service), and the location was superb! If we get the chance to go back, this is where I would stay!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel May 2013 and it had small but quaint rooms with Parisian charm. Our balcony overlooked the Latin quarter streets and was quite pleasant. The lobby had a cute sitting room where you could enjoy a glass of wine. Good location and good pricing. Comfortable stay.

"Charade" a movie with Cary Grant & Audrey Hepburn was filmed here quite a while back. The location is perfect if you are looking for a great hotel in the 5th. It's an older hotel but if you are looking for a romantic place this is it. There are many nice cafes and sights within walking distance and the Metro... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
