A super location and that is all what you need in a city like paris.. bathroom is clean and room in general. There was a strange smell but not that disturbing.. size of room is ok.. v close to metro stations and the street where hotel is located is full of shops and restaurants. Staff were friendly but find it... More

My room was noisy has it was located near the stairs and elevator. More over their was no sheets on the bolster which was damaged by perspiration ... One of my friend had an other room on the upper level and he had no water in his shower. An other problem was we hadn't any mobile network in the hotel... More

Located on a cute, small street with lots of restaurants and close to many sights and metro, the rooms are in need of some updating. We expected small, but the room is just barely bigger than the queen size bed and there is barely space to open a suitcase. The decor may not have been updated in decades, but it... More

Super location and of course we expected small room and street noise as part of Paris life, but shower was scalding, almost unusable, and staff just ignored our polite requests to fix. And yeah, experienced with Euro plumbing! We chose not to leave key fob at front desk as disorganized staff often on phone and inconvenient to wait for them... More

Hotel is located in the heart of the city.. 5 min. walk to Odeon metro. However, I suppose that is the only good think abt the hotel. Furniture is very old. The room looks like an old university dorm or a hostel but not like a 2* hotel. I stayed in other 2* hotels in Paris and know the standard.... More

Stayed in this hotel in November 2013. It is ideally located for the Louvre (10 mins walk), and across the road from the exhibition centre, which reflects on the price. It is hugely over priced, as the rooms are very small, and looked a bit like university halls of residence. The room does have a DVD player, which needed a... More

The hotel is located in the heart of St Germain. Close to great restaurants, shops and nightlife. We walked pretty much everywhere. Only a 20 walk to the Louvre. The hotel itself isn't that great. We had no AC in the room. So if you're planning to visit during the summer months, do NOT stay there. We had a great... More

This hotell has a very good situation, located in the heart of St-Germain des Pres, on the left bank, Paris. Do you like nostalgic retroathmospfære back to "THE Vogue 60 Th Filmdirectors artistic Vibes" , then this is Your hotell, if you only can afford a fairly low but decent price,(Saint Germain is a very expensive area in Paris). The... More

This is a small hotel with 5 floors and an elevator. The reception is at the first floor (only accessible with stairs). The stairs are small. Behind the reception there is a small lobby with a television. Not all rooms have the same size. The individual rooms are very small. The bed is smaller than 2 meters in length, there... More

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP! This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The noise from the street below is from all night partiers (many bars in the area) - wrapping up at 6 am, then the street cleaners come through. No A/C, no fans. Roasting with the windows closed to TRY to... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
