wow! Our first words on entering our room. Parisian chic. From the modern, clean and beautiful reception, classy lift decor, and excellent room, what more do you need. I stayed on the first floor which doesn't have a view - if that's important to you maybe best to look elsewhere. The room had a very modern bathroom although the access... More

Nice and clean hotel right in the centre of Paris, very helpful and kind personnel always ready to help. I would suggest the superior rooms if you can afford the money difference. Bathroom and rooms are spacious considering the city location. Don't bother with breakfast, go in town and enjoy a Parisienne one. I highly suggest it

Perfectly located, very charming small boutique hotel, 5-10 min walk from Luxembourg gardens and St Germain. Extremely pleasant athmosphere and friendly and helpful staff. All our special needs were attended with care (transfers, room requirements, wheel chair rental) and with a smile. We had a small suite that had a view towards the Odeon theatre. Room was beautifully decorated and... More

Brilliant location on the left bank. Many of the main attractions are within walking distance. Hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff helpful. Room, a junior suite, was small with cramped bathroom with only 1 mirror for 3 women!

Our 1st time staying in the Hotel Baume, after staying in another hotel 2 years ago. Excellent staff, clean modern rooms that are typical for Paris. Very central, but quiet. A little bit more of a hike to the sites....but that's what Paris is about. Highly recommended ...

My husband and I were delighted with our three-night stay at Hotel Baume. We arrived from CDG late morning after a red-eye and they had our room ready for us, which we greatly appreciated. All staff speak English and are very helpful and accommodating. Our standard room (#16) was beautiful and sophisticated and more spacious than I expected. We just... More

We had a most lovely stay at the Hotel Baume. It is a stunning jewel-box of a property. The room, while small, was very well conceived and super comfortable. That bed! It is on a very quiet street. I heard almost no noise from other guests. The small bathroom had the most amazing water pressure, lovely white tile, super towel... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
