Stayed here for one night the weekend just gone for business, very nice hotel in a perfect location for me as I needed to be at Galeries Lafayette early the next morning (literally next door to the staff entrance) I'm not sure if this would be an ideal tourist hotel? Location wise I am not sure what else is around.... More

We booked here for 4 nights whilst in Paris and the location was perfect. Room was small but adequate to sleep. The staff were extremely helpful in every way possible. Would be quite happy to stay again if we returned to Paris. For me the best was the quietness of the room (406) which for me was a bonus

Was very disappointed with this hotel's service and amenities! This is a 2 star or 1 star hotel only!! You have to go down to get your towels replaced using the smallest elevator in the world (max of 3 pax per way). It takes so long for this elevator to go up and down that i would suggest for u... I was only going to be there for one night, alone, and needed a place with a good location. This was a great choice. On my walk from metro station to hotel I could see the beautiful Christmas decorations at Galleries Lafayette and places nearby. When I arrived at the hotel, at about 10pm, the staff was super friendly and... More

Stayed there for 9 days. Location is second to none. Right behind Galleries Lafayette, with many restaurants/cafes and mini markets nearby. I felt very safe walking around at night. The 2 reception girls made you feel very welcome the minute you stepped foot in the hotel, always smile and very helpful everytime. The only downside of this hotel was the... More

This is by far the best Paris hotel we have stayed in. Clean and comfortable, tastefully decorated and friendly staff. And a good choice at the breakfast buffet. We would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.

Chosen for its proximity to Opera Garnier, this hotel didn’t disappoint. Pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient reception staff- thanks to Laura and Mabel. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Whether a mattress is hard, soft or medium is, frankly, purely subjective. Although the central heating in the bedroom malfunctioned, by keeping the door between the bathroom and bedroom open, the heating... More

Situated behind Galeries Lafayette, just beside its staff entrance & smokers' area. Paris is a smokers city. Anyway, I checked into the Comfort room which is bigger than Helious Opera hotel that I have just checked-out. Plus there is a bathtub and the shower cap for which Helious does not has it. There is also an indoor air heater in... More

Located right behind the "grands magasins" and boulevard Hausseman, this small hotel is a great place to stay for shopping in Paris. The rooms are simple but satisfy basic needs and sleep of quality. The staff is welcoming, in particular Maelle who was very friendly and professional.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
