The location near gentrified South Pigalle is excellent. The room was above the average size for Paris (still small if compared with any other city). The bathroom door was very old and did not close properly, which gives you the impression that the hotel needs some renovation. It was very clean though and they accept small pets, which is a... Dear Sir, Thank you for sharing your feeling with us. I understand your main problem was the breakfast area. I am so glad to inform you that next week we will start some work improvment : the breakfast room will be enlarged thanks to the bar next door. So our guests will have the pleasure to start their day on... More

The price is kinda good in comparison to other hotels in Paris, the staff are very nice and helpful. The location was the best thing for me because there is a Metro station like 2 minutes away. Breakfast is good, the dining area and the single room are really small.

Dear customer, Thank your for sharing your feeling with us on Tripadvisor. As you said some of our rooms are quite tidy. Unfortunately it is a common problem in Paris that we have to deal with. Regarding the breakfast or dining room, I am glad to inform you that some improvement works will start next week. So sooner or later... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Pleasant hotel, the room was really small but had everything we needed. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, everything was fresh (including fruit salad and fresh orange juice) but breakfast area is quite small so in the morning can be crowded. Location is fine, nearby the metro from where you... More

I stayed at the Ibis Pigalle for 4 nights in October 2014. This is a hotel of last resort. There is absolutely no relationship between the quality of the experience and the price - even for Paris. Rooms are small and desperately in need of a renovation. There were bloody stains on the curtains, the carpet was worn out and... More

Dear Mr Pratt, I am very sorry to see that you did not enjoy your stay with us. It is true that our rooms are quite tidy. However I would recommand you to book a double or family room for more space. Regarding the price they are based on the activity and followed by ACCOR. Regarding the quality even if... More

When I look into this hotel online, it seemed very modern and fashionable, and advertised as Ibis styled, therefore a bit superior than the normal Ibis. Therefore, I expected that 150 euros a night for a double room would be expensive but maybe worth it. I was, however, very disappointed upon arrival. The receptionist was very nice and friendly, but... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feeling with us. Regarding the rooms, they have been fully renovated in middle 2012. I am sorry if you do not appreciate their style. Unfortunately it is a matter of point a view. Regarding the breakfast, you are so right. It is tidy and not easy to walk by. Fortunately in few weeks... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
