The prince hotel is awful, the location it's in is lovely, with a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and lovely shops and bars around, when I arrived I found other peoples hair in the bath! Mould on the walls which made the room smell, stains on bed sheets, carpets and walls, paper peeling of everywhere and door handles... More

This place is absolutely what you would expect and want from a reasonablky priced, perfectly located, Paris hotel. Is is NOT new or pristine, but huge on charm. Bathrooms were fantastic. Ask for room overlooking Bosquet Ave. General manager was mostly easy to work with, but did charge for a double rate on an additional night he ahd agreed to... More

I stayed 4 nights at this hotel and it was terrible. Very small room with mouldy walls. Elavator was next to my room and it was working with a noise which made me woke up whenever it started to down and up. I left my shampoo and other bath stuff in the bathroom when i went out for a walk... More

I must admit that I was quite terrified when I entered my room at first. Small, with old carpet, very visibile traces of mold on the walls and wall paper detached in a few points. In general, the room was giving me a strong feeling of dirt. Overcoming the hugely bad first impression, I started to appreciate the hotel as... More

Wonderful hotel with very helpful and kindly staff. 5 minutes from Eiffel, Military School (Ecole Military), metro station is just 1 minutes by walk. There are very beautiful restaurants, brasseries, cafe's neor of Prince Hotel. You can go with bus (#80) to Champ Elysees just for 10 minutes. Bus stops near of the hotel. The staff of hotel is very... More

We stayed at the Hotel Prince for 2 nights on the tail end of a European trip and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect ending to our vacation. You will see reviews noting how old the rooms and appointments were, but it is historic Paris afterall. I'm not sure what else you could hope for considering your proximity to... More

The location was excellent. Just a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower, several cafés and bars right outside the door of the hotel. Neighborhood had lots of foot traffic and I felt safe walking alone, even at night. This hotel was a pretty good value based on those factors. The downsides? This is a very old hotel. I read the... Yes, I agree that there is mold and that the carpeting needs updating. My room needed a toilet paper holder, too. We got two rooms and it is also true that in one of our rooms you would have to use the toilet with the door open or sit sideways to be able to close the door. On the plus... More

Very Quaint; If you like Holiday Inn or 5 star hotels, this hotel is NOT for you. If you want quaint, Parisian atmosphere; you will love it. Less than 50 yards from Metro, 4 restaurants, 2 bakeries, Militar Ecole and a supermarket. Ten minute stroll to the Eiffel Tower and the Tomb of Napolian and the Military Museum. No swimming... More

Having booked a room with a canal view, it was very disappointing to find that the room had been cut in half from its original size, making it quite small, so the canal view was only possible to view by actually open pulling back the curtain and squeezing up against the wall and the open window .
