First of all, you can't really get to the hotel by car even if you could, the driver has to drive around so it's definitely not an ideal hotel when you are traveling with lots of luggage. Neighborhood: It's surrounded by restaurants & bars so you can imagine it's quite filthy there so I wouldn't recommend any single female traveler... More

Great location, close to everything and walkable to all the major sites. The staff was outstanding and sooo helpful and friendly. Our room was super cute and perfect for our 5 night stay with two kids. They loved the adorable elevator that holds three people.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Paris close to the Chatalet Metro station. Get the Place St Opportune exit and the hotel is to your right a few steps away. Boutique style and (as the hotel site states) the rooms are on the small size, but well laid out, clean and air conditioned. There were some signs of wear... More

Firstly the hotel is so well placed for restaurants and Paris street shopping perfect ! Metro nearby And lots to see and do The room we had was fab , great - perhaps room instructions would have been good as I couldn't get anything to work The lift is small but heh character The downstairs should be a bar it's... We booked and paid for this Paris hotel eight months before arrival. Unfortunately two weeks before our trip my partner broke his ankle so was unable to travel. We asked the hotel if they would help us and change our reservation for another four night stay later in the year at a date to suit the hotel. They refused to... More

This hotel is very central in Paris, very close to the metro, and many Paris sights are within walking distance. I did find the price surprisingly high for the room sizes, but we did have a nice bath and room. Also, the breakfast is under-used because rooms are typically sold without the breakfast. There are quite some downsides: * The... More

This was a return visit and all services were the same, good location, hotel staff friendly. Lift quite tight but happy to have one. Room cosy but workable for Paris. We were in rm 44 which overlooked the street, made it slightly noisy in the early mornings with Paris activity but nice to look out. Situated at Les Halles, close... More

I was extremely happy with my choice of Hotel Ducs d'Anjou however I was left wondering how they received their fourth star. It is clearly not deserving of this. While the location is excellent and the hotel quite charming, I noted a number of maintenance related issues in my room. The lavendar colored carpet was extremely faded and in need... More

With so many hotels to choose from in Paris, it took a lot of searching to find one that suited. It was easy to get to from the airport, being about a 1 minute walk from Les Halles RER (and Metro), which links directly to CDG. The hotel is very central, between the Louvre, Notre Dame etc. It is in... More

We had a wonderful stay in the delightful boutique hotel. Lovely room overlooking the piazza, friendly staff. It was very comfortable and clean. The location in the heart of Paris is just brilliant. I will return.

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
