First, we were surprised about hotel facilities. It's hard to believe they are classified as 4 star. Hotel should be classified as 2 stars. Second, WiFi quality is extremely poor, so in practice we have no internet connection. Third, professional behavior of some employees (fortunately not all) was very poor. We ask to talk with manager about WiFi issue and... More

Hotel has a brilliant location in the middle of the city. RER train and metro are only few steps away, shopping possibilities around the corner, cafes and restaurants near and you can walk to most important sights like Louvre and Notre Dame. Rooms a clean, quiet and in Parisian style small. Our heating was a bit too good, it was... More

Quick summary: I'm giving this hotel 2 stars mostly because of the incredibly hard working and friendly staff. My experience due to being stuck in room 11 was horrific otherwise. I'm 100% certain it must be the worse room in the hotel. I did go up to my friend's room, which was lovely. And the cost benefit analysis is NOT... More

This is not the first time to stay at this hotel for both business and private. Always a great pleasure : great welcome and fantastic location ! Easy to catch the RER to Parc des Expositions or to attend any meeting in Paris. Easy to walk down the Streets to Le Louvre, Champs Elysées and Bastille via Le Marais. Jazz... More

This was the last hotel where my wife and I stayed during our getaway in France. The good includes how centrally located it is and the vibrant night life in the immediate vicinity (if you're into that kind of thing). The very good included the gorgeous lobby and very kind and helpful concierge staff. I wish I'd written this review... More

A very nice hotel with a great location to anywhere in Paris for a little romantic getaway. Closeness to Châtelet metro is very convinient and walking diatance from Marais and some of the key sights in Paris is great. Room we had was clean comfortable and serviced our needs perfectly. Although, if you travel with huge suitcases you might need... More

Positive surprises from this hotel Located in the center of Paris (2min off Rue de rivoli-hotel de ville area): the standard room was spacious, well furnished and clean (for Paris standards it is a luxury). The only issue was the bathroom (quite old in need of refurbishment). I recommend this hotel for the value for money compromise and the location.

A few weeks ago I stayed at the nearby Best Western, and this hotel was almost on par with it for lower room cost. The location was great, in the heart of Paris, and the room was clean and air-conditioned. But there were things that can be improved. The shower didn't have a tray for soap and shampoo, the tissue... More

I don't think you could have a more central location in Paris, 30 seconds walk to Chatelet metro station, where most Paris lines seem to go through. There must be 1,000 restaurants in all directions within a 5 minute walk. The staff were friendly, the room is a bit on the small size, but the location makes up for it.... More

We stayed in the two-room suite on the top (6th) floor -- my husband and myself and two college-age kids. It was perfect for us. There is a small sofa area in the outer room for having a glass of wine before dinner. (There is a small fridge in the room for an honor bar but they seemed fine with... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
