It is a nice small hotel 100 meters away from the XVIII arondissement city hall and Jules Joffrin 12 metro stop. Avarage Paris hotels are expensive WRT quality and cleaness. This is quite cheap but clean and largerly renewed, with a small elevator (not very often present in old and small size building such as this. Rooms are not larges,... More

A comfortable hotel at a good price. Walking distance to Sacre Couer. Clean room and comfortable beds. The biggest negative is that the elevator stops between floors forcing you to lug your bags up or down 1/2 flight.

This hotel is located very close to the Metro and 5 mins walk from Sacre Coer which is just fantastic. I stayed there for a 3 night trip to Paris and that was just about the right length of time as far as my stamina for being a tourist. Friendly staff (not rude) and good breakfast - fantastic restaurant next... More

The hotel is nice, but rather small. The reception clerks were polite and always available. The hallways are small, the elevator was tiny, literally cannot fit more than three people. The room itself was clean and the view was spectacular. With no AC, however, we had to open the windows. Not complaining though, because the night air was crisp and... More

It is easy to arrive and locate it, just 2 block from the metro station, very friendly personnel, it has an elevator to help you with the big luggage, they offer you buffet in a good price, soundproof rooms and also very quiet neighborhood, very close to sacre cour and moulin rouge, they offer you a morning buffet which is... We booked the hotel after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor. We asked the Hotel for advice on getting from the airport to the hotel and they organised a shuttle taxi for our arrival and departure. We also asked them for advice on a number of things before we arrived and the staff were fantastic giving good advice in a... More

My boyfriend and I had one last night in Paris after a 12 day trip around Europe and were looking for a cheap nice hotel with a decent place to put our heads. I found Eden on booking.com for 52 Euros and great reviews so it seemed like a no brainer. When we got there and saw the sign outside... More

Eden Montmartre is the kind of budget hotel that feels as close to boutique as you will find in Europe without the exorbitant prices. Checking in was a bit of a wait but I was early and the staff was accommodating in getting me into my room as soon as possible. Most European hotel rooms are small compared to American... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
