This is a pretty bland sort of place. You will not be thrilled; you will not be horribly disappointed. This is Paris, so you get what you pay for, and this hotel is appealingly affordable. Here are the good points: the hotel is very clean and most of the rooms are quiet (avoid the ones that are near the corridor... More

We arrived at the hotel pretty late, and didn't really get a great first impression of the area the hotel was located in. The neighborhood was kinda shady. The next morning we got a better impression. The hotel is only a short walk from the underground, which was perfect to get around in Paris. We wanted to go sightseeing for... More

If you're a tourist from another country save your time/money and go somewhere else. We got to Paris from New York around 6 am and we arrived at the hotel around 7:45-8am. We understand that we were extremely early. But the service from The receptionist was extremely poor. the first thing the receptionist said to us :" they're booked and... More

Booked through Teletext. We haven't visited Paris before, and wanted somewhere as close to tourist attractions as possible! It's difficult to do this in Paris without paying a fortune. The hotel wasn't in the greatest area, but to be honest, we didn't have any trouble, even at night. We stayed in room number 1. It was cleaned daily, and spacious.... More

Is this as good as it gets for your money? Yes it is! Yes it is nothing spectacular but it is clean, has a good shower and a basic breakfast. And possibly even more important it is quiet and that in the middle of the Gare du l'Est area. There is no front, just a door and a long corridor... More

First I will complain about Choice Hotels and the Comfort Inn brand, which this hotel is a part of. Do not book this hotel through them! I am normally a fan and Choice Privileges member, but saved over $200 on my 3 night stay by booking through others online. Choice Hotels would not honor their "best internet price guarantee", which... More

The hotel is great, the room is very small but it's enough for people that just go to sleep. The area seems unsafe in the beginning but we informed about the people in the corners and they are just workers of the stores of cosmetics. After the first day we saw that it's a safe place we came to the... More

We stayed in Comfort Hotel from November 29th - December 2nd and had a great time. The hotel was very clean and the receptionist was really nice and helpful. On the website it says to get off the Metro at Gare de L'est but if you get off at Strasbourg St Denis instead, you're only about a two minute walk... More

Another small hotel in a city where hotels aren't the cheapest. For the 4 nights I stayed the comfort Inn was more than adequate. The bathroom and shower are tiny but the bed was new and comfortable. There was adequate cupboard and desk space. My room had a small balcony which showed colourful streetscape. The breakfast was simple but filling.... More
