That's a perfect place for a city trip! Very good location - right next to La Comédie-Française, walking distance to most of Paris sightseeings. Good public transport connetion to everywhere! Room is quite spacious, especially for Paris, and very clean. All receptionists are very nice and helpfull and speak good english. Many thanks to Mathew and others (sorry, I don't... More

The location is really good and the room was absolutely HUGE, but it's very old and the elevator fits 2 people max. Also you have to leave your room key at the door which is bizarre. We were disappointed with it overall as it wasn't exactly cheap and we felt we could have had a better deal somewhere else.

We recently spent one night here on a layover between flights from Africa to the US. We checked in early in the morning and were able to leave all of our overnight bags in one room which they had ready upon our arrival. The location was close to the Louvre and the Palais Royal and easily within walking distance from... More

Rooms are what's expected in Paris---small, but comfortable. Sadly, no air conditioner and our room on the 5th floor got quite warm. We were able to open our window at night (no screen, but no bugs) and there is a fan on the wall, but after a hot day walking around, a hot room takes awhile to cool down. The... More

We reserved only and then called the office twice to cancel. First time they claimed that their system was down and second time they said we are all set. Now they charged us for the first night. We called the manager and the lady is not customer focused at all. Really bad service. Watch out reserving through their website and... More

We opted to purchase the breakfast in the lobby rather than hunt for a place. The coffee was excellent and the breads, croissants, typical but great. Yogurt and cheeses were also provided. We were plenty full and enjoyed it. The room was a little warm with no air, but was clean.

We found this hotel to be a good value. It also has a great location and it's clean. A good value for the money and so close to most everything, we walked and only used the metro to arrive and leave. The desk clerks could not have been more helpful.

This hotel was just what I was looking for. The rates were very reasonable for a nice hotel in a fantastic location. I wanted to be able to walk to the Louvre and Cathedral and the Montpensier was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant, professional and extremely helpful. Their English was very good too. I... More

The hotel is great for a trip to Paris. The location is unbeatable, just a mere 5 minutes form the Louvre. The staff is helpful and friendly and the rooms themselves are clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a cheap yet wholesome stay.
