It's just 2 minutes walk to Louvre. The Service was good, good english speeking. Unfortunately there was building work just cross the street. They began at 7 am and ended around 5 pm. But all in all we were very happy choosing this location.

Lady receptionist has no welcome smile at all, sounded so strict and serious saying " leave the key here when you go out pls!". Hubby and I had one hand carry each, when we found the lift, it looked scary with bars like you're in a jail, we went in anyway, had to squeezed ourselves in and could hardly breathe.... More

Very good value for money. Functional, spacious (I think I got upgraded) and refurbished and decorated fine in the rooms. Breakfast is a rip off and there are no toiletries but considering the price, the last minute availability and the incredible location 5 min from palais royal and musee du louvres, this is well worth it. Staff was friendly (I... More

We recently spent a very nice weekend in Paris at the Hotel Montpensier. We found it to be ideally located. Close to the Louvre and close to the Metro. The staff were very friendly, helpful and pleasant. The rooms were clean and tidy. There were many bars and cafes located nearby. We would use this hotel again.

Location was ideal to all the main attractions, 5mins walk to the Louvre, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very small and outdated, we traveled end of Jan so the weather was freezing the room was very warm also provided extra blankets and pillows, i wouldnt stay here during the summer as id say you would... First, the positives: 1) location. The hotel is really in a perfect location in the 1er, just by the Louvre, the Tuileries, the d'Orsay, and on and on. I have stayed in the Latin Quarter in the past (which, to be honest, I prefer--so much more charm, fewer tourists too), but we only had 2 days, so this location made... More

The location of this hotel is the main advantage. It is literally 5 minutes away from the Louvre, 10 from the Opera and other main attractions are within walking distance as well. We were in room 39 (5th Floor) and the room was really outdated. The walls can use a new paintjob, rooms / hotel could use a refresher in... More
