My fiancée and I spent a wonderful three nights at Le85 with our attentive host, Didier. The two bedroom apartment was immaculate yet homely. Our room, the Baudelaire, was classically decorated, with clean and modern facilities and a comfortable, large bed. It was the perfect base to explore Paris, just a short walk from the Gare de Nord, and particularly... More

Was just in Paris for a couple of days, and had a wonderful stay at Le85! I picked the b&b initially for its location - a 5 min walk to the Gare du Nord (very convenient for getting back to CDG on the RER) and a 2 min walk to the metro station. BUT, I will definitely return because of... More

This time I stayed in room Eugenie, which is the size of a ballroom. Tastefully furnished, with an enormous bed, settee and triple glazed windows. So no noise from outside. Bathroom is separate in the same room, everything is very clean. Breakfast is a treat with all the helpfull advice you need from Didier. And also his wife Valerie and... More

Didier and his family were more than welcoming!! Didier was so helpful, and made our trip worth it! If we honestly didn't have such a great host we would have struggled in Paris. It was our first time in europe, in a country where we did not speak the language and he made it easy for us! He would print... More

When you walk into Le85, you are not only welcomed into a carefully preserved record of Paris’ past, but a modern image of a thriving family. You will be greeted by a gracious host with an infectious smile, Didier and his talented wife, Valerie. If you are lucky, you might even see the twirling, Frozen-clad form of their daughter, (princess)... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Didier and his family! He was such a wonderful host who went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. He would wake up extra early when we had to leave early for tours and on the day we left he carried my luggage all the way to... More

Our host was wonderful. He even got up to make us breakfast at 5:30 AM. We had fresh orange juice every morning. HIs place is lovely and very convenient to the metro and many sights. Our host recommended places to eat dinner and was very hospitable. The room is very nice.

Wonderful hospitality from Didier and Valarie.... We were made to feel very welcome and the presentation of the place was very warm.... Their bed was comfy and warm where I got the best sleep that I could in my 5 weeks stay in Europe. The breakfast was wonderful served with freshly squeezed orange juice topped with home-made fruit jam! It... More

We stayed 8 nights in this great B&B. Didier is an amazing host. Full of information, enthusiasm and extremely helpful, eg recommending and booking restaurants. The room was comfortable and sharing the loo with the other room was no problem. Each room has its own shower and handbasin. The street could be noisy at night with the window open but... More

It is hard to say new things about this B&B as you can see. Didier is such a wonderful host. You are staying in a typical (100 yr old+?) apt building in a neighborhood with cafes and not many tourists. Very close to a metro stop and the Gare du Nord, it is easy to get around. The rooms have... More
