We are really satisfied with our choice in finding hotel in Paris. It is indeed a very good hotel! The location is superb- 2 m from Cadet metro,7 m from Opera!I travelled with two daughters and worried a bit but everything was up to three star hotel service. Very pleasant receptionists)

This location was booked for my husband and I during our stay in Paris, it was not close to but was on a direct metro line to the meeting we were attending. Arriving at the Gare du Nord after sitting on planes and trains we decided the hotel looked surly close and we had a pleasant 15 min walk to... More

I called that hotel last month and I actually want to recommend it all. The hotel and the rooms were very clean, The hotel was very close to the center of the city and most of all the gesture was very good especially from the hotel landlord. Thank you for a pleasant stay. JAKLYN MERGUI.

A lot better than we expected. Great location, near metrostation and Gare du Nord (also Starbucks, supermarket, McDonald's, few nice bistros and brasseries, 10mins from Galeries Lafayette by foot). Rooms are very simple, but ok. Staff wasn't that rude, they were helpful. Breakfast was very simple; boiled eggs, coffee/tea, cereals, croissants. Wi-fi 5€/24hour, 1€/half hour.

We arrived, checked in, checked out and found another Hotel! The walls, floor, cieling, elevator, stairs and almost everything seemed to be falling apart. It felt dirty and disgusting. The room was really small and looked dirty and the radiator was set to maximum and was not adjustable.

A place to leave aside… Infrastructure is falling apart, a shower that spreads its water in any direction, except yours. Shower door doesn't close... A room (room 23), called suite, of no more than 10 sqm Heating equipment that is coming half of the wall, taped back. A hairdryer that is taped together. A staircase which once must have been... I stayed here for 3 nights as a single traveller and found it OK. It was part of a package with Eurostar and is just a 1km walk from Gare du Nord down Rue la Fayette. I was put in a room on the top floor which was very small. The bathroom was tiny also. One complaint is the shower... More

We came to the hotel with no expectations because of the price. The room was OK - no air-conditioning, refrigirator or coffee set. It was clean and the beds were good. location - not so good but close to the metro and some restaurants. not noisy. BUT The service was terrible!!!!!!!! The shower wire was broken on our second night... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
