Stayed in this hotel (me and my husband) and everything went extremely smoothly. Breakfast was good though fairly expensive. We thought that it was still worth it because it was so simple to eat it in the hotel and then start exploring the city. The staff, especially the receptionist, was awesome! English was spoken fluently, we got good advice, and... More

I was booked into this hotel through Hotwire, and after reading the reviews about it I was very nervous about staying here. But it was lovely! It's close to a lot of great things, including Tourist Information, great shopping, and the Opera. The price was reasonable and yes the rooms are small but that's Europe! You can't expect to spend... The hotel was clean, modern and functional but not at all welcoming with reception staff that would generally ignore you when passing through the lobby. There was a kettle in the room but nothing else that would be needed to make a drink. When we asked for some tea/coffee we were told to buy our own outside and bring it... More

I've been to Paris couple of times and I am glad that we found this hotel this time. The location is great and connects us to most places in Paris as it is just next to Saint-Lazare metro and railway station (2 minutes walk). We could go to Versailles (which is part of our itinerary) taking a direct train from... More

Location is close to one of the busiest station. You might be lost just being in there to navigate your way in the station. Hotel is located strategically in the heart of the city. But the receptionist killed it all by welcoming you with sour face. Not helpful at all when you asked for info. Pay for location. Don't expect... More

This area of Paris is hard to explain. I don't know if I love it or hate it. Maybe a bit of both. I will say though that while it's proximity to Gallerie Layfayette (and other shopping destinations) is great, the seedy nature of this neighbourhood puts a negative spin on it. But that can be said for any area... More

This is not a Grand Hotel by any stretch of the imagination. It is rather a collection of bedrooms accessed via a single doored corridor from the street leading to a small and unwelcoming reception and breakfast area which is lined with beverage machines. We booked a superior room on a high floor with a balcony, but when we saw... More

Bonjour, it is true the hotel is very well situated in the center of Paris. I am very sorry you were disapointed of your stay and missunderstanding about the transportation; the taxi station is right across the street from us were you can easily catch a taxi meter waiitin in line, the only service we are proposing is Private Drivers... Very convenient, Joseph night clerk extremely helpful. rooms clean and spacious. Manager very engaged with guest, telling of future plans to expand lobby etc...Location across train station and Paris subway gives you access to the whole city. Great experience. Wifi free and very reliable.

Too loud, too ratty, too expensive. The hotel was inundated with youth from Asia, running amok at all hours of the day and MOSTLY night! Loud neighborhood. Rooms were tiny and the place needs renovations. To save energy they have motion detectors in the hallways which are SUPPOSED to activate lights. No such luck... Do yourself a favor and stay... Dear Tripadvisor readers, Our hotel reopened in 2012 after 5 years of work, has been entirely demolish and rebuilt, it does not need any renovation. Our guests are over 85% from Asia and we are proud of it, the large majority of our customer appreciate our large room by Paris standards and our quality service. We recently have been approved... Located next to Saint-Lazare train station and in east walking distance from the Champs-Élysées and so much of the best of Paris. The room was quite spacious, very modern and comfortable. The service was good -- very polite and helpful.
