The hotel located very close to Pigalle metro station, famous Moulin Rouge is just stone throw away. The neighbourhood creates mixed feelings. The hotel is typically french, rooms are not very big, but clean. Our room faced Rue Victor Masse, and I would say noice coming from the street was constant. Guy at the reception was very nice and helpful.... More

This hotel does not know the word service, it's all about rules, don't do this, don't do that. A very unfriendly extremely rude night porter who never heard of the word friendlyness and service before. He also gave wrong information about travel time to airport. At the price we paid for each single room (3 persons) under the rooftop, elevator... More

We stayed at the hotel in March 2015 and had a great stay from the start. The receptionist was very kind and helpful with the check-in and provided us with a lot of information about the city, where to go and which metro or bus to take. We had two beautifully refurbished rooms which were excellent. It was clean and... More

A friend and I stayed here in December 2014, the hotel is a short walk from Gare du Nord station if you are arriving by Eurostar like us. The location is good, Pigalle metro station is about a 5 minute walk, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby as well as supermarkets. However, 'red light district' is around... More

We stayed here in January 2015 the rooms are small but expected in Europe. The hotel is clean and staff are amazing. The hotel is in a great location with many attractions in walking distance. We had such a great experience and cant wait to go back. Many great cafes and restaurants just down the road.

We booked LAST MINUTE during the peak season and found two rooms at the Grand Hotel de turin with our friends. Ideal location, close to Mont Martre and to the Rue des Martyrs, which offers a lot of options for bakeries, restaurants, etc... we even found a nice little boutique for clothes and shoes. We didn t take the breakfast... More

Very good price vs. quality, positively surprised after long weekend staying in this hotel. Very good service and breakfast served in the morning. Only one minus... although room were booked for 2 adults and 2 children (4 persons room) only adults were included for breakfast and we had to pay additionaly for children.

Great value for hotel in the hearth of Paris. 10 minutes to Moulin rouge, 20 min. to Montmartre, approximately 40 min. to Champs Elisees and 1h and a halt to Eiffel tower walking distances! The stuff was really nice and everyone was speaking english. Our room was small, but comfortable and we have everything needed (except fridge :D). Bathroom was... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
