The hotel is located very close to the metro which is a bonus. Beds comfortable but rooms were noisy due to street noise early in morning and could hear other guests coming and going. Don't bother with the breakfast which wasn't very good, head over to the lovely patisseries in Saint Severin or the cafes which we did on our... More

We arrived on a rainy day in December after a very unpleasant metro ride from the airport. What a surprise to find that this lovely hotel is very close to the metro station, surrounded by all kinds or restaurants and bars. The receptionist was from Spain, spoke several languages fluently and was very, very nice and welcoming. And the cosy... More

So easy to get from metro and location was perfect ! Having a balcony was the best part of our room. Loved the cat in the lobby that greeted us every time we walked into the hotel. Latin Quarter has it all !!

I almost want to keep this place a secret for myself, my family and friends. The location is amazing, very central. You really can't do better. The hotel is extremely clean. The rooms are very comfortable. Bathroom was updated and modern. Get a balcony so you can be in the neighbourhood, even when relaxing in the room. The staff couldn't... More

My wife and I stayed here for a week during our third trip to the city of lights. In our prior visits we've stayed in Montparnasse ( see my review of Lenox Montparnasse). This time around we felt the need to be in the middle of it all and this hotel did just that. I don't think we could of... More

My boyfriend and i stayed at this hotel before Christmas for 3 nights for a short weekend away. We found it easy to get to from CDG airport via the train and 5 mins walking distance from the station on arrival.. It was a great base for us to go an explore the beautiful city with many restaurants around at... More

What a wonderful place to visit. So much to see and do. My husband and I booked this chic hotel that is in the heart of the Latin quarter on the left bank in gay paris. We stayed for 4 nights. The staff greeted as we arrived late evening with a wealth of knowledge and always a courteous bonjour/ bonsoir.... More

Everything about this hotel was as good as, or better than, we had hoped - reasonably stylish, very well cleaned, great shower, large comfortable bed and first rate staff. Above all the location is perfect for all the major attractions in Paris - nearly all are within an easy walk, the Arc de Triomphe and the Sacre Coeur being the... More

We stayed three nights. I was on a business trip and selected the hotel for its proximity to both sights to see and the metro so I could get to my meetings while my hubby could enjoy the city. The staff were very pleasant although we never asked anything of them so I can't tell you if they were exceptional... More

Hallway carpet very tired and dirty, furniture in room also very tired with stains all over it, toilet was not clean. Bed was not comfortable at all. Had a musty smell and very noisy. We had to keep the window open because it was very hot and musty and all through the night people yelling, horns honking, can hear people... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
