Stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend and was very surprised. The hotel is perfect for a small break away. It is in the perfect location surrounded my restaurants and bars. Not only that but it is close to many tourist attractions where you are able to take a beautiful walk. The staff are very friendly, in-particular one receptionist from... More

Hotel is near famous attractions such as Notre Dame, very close to the St Michel metro stop. There is nonstop train service from the airport to this metro stop. I stayed here with a friend. We each had our own single rooms, on the small side, but to be expected for a single. Although small, my balcony room had a... More

My review will focus on the hotel itself since so many other reviews have well covered the location and surrounding area. This hotel is in an old building but everything seemed to be nicely maintained and with modern conveniences. I would describe the rooms I saw as rustic/quaint/cozy. I stayed for 3 nights in February 2015 in Room 518 which... More

Totally enjoyed this hotel for the convenience, location to metro station and ability to walk most anywhere for shopping and great meals. But it was truly the staff that would keep me coming back to this little gem of a hotel. So friendly and able to direct us to anything we needed. Our room was very clean with plenty of... More

My wife & I had a fantastic stay in a great corner room on the 5th floor with a small private balcony. The hotel is situated in a great location with a supermarket downstairs and plenty of bars, restaurants & curio shops in the surrounding streets. It is very close to the metro station and within walking distance to many... More

Stayed here as a couple this week. Very welcoming staff, hotel was clean and I felt the hotel was more than a 3 Star. The interior is lovely, had a real french feel to it, also has a lovely cat who sleep in the lobby. Rooms were spotless, bed was comfy, pillows extra comfy. Nice powerful shower, English channels on... More

After our wonderful stay last year we decided to book the St. Severin for our return trip this year. This hotel has the best location. The rooms are a nice size for a European hotel. We booked a room with a balcony again so we could look out on the quaint pedestrian streets. The staff is friendly and we love... More

We traveled here in May 2013 as part of our 2 week European vacation. We chose this hotel based on its location to a major metro stop as well as it vicinity to nearby restaurants and bars. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel, very friendly staff and room is a descent size (given that it is a European hotel)... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
