The hotel is in a central location, which makes it easy to get to via metro or RER (if coming via EuroStar or CDG). It's a stylish hotel and the room/bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Some may find the rooms small, but that doesn't bother me as who wants to spend much time in a hotel room when in... More

Stayed here for four nights during our honeymoon. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had two twin beds pushed together to make one large bed. Not very comfortable beds/pillows. Quiet neighborhood. Very easy to take train to airport Rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was good but limited selection. Close walk to Notre Dame but a walk to most other... More

the location is great, next to the Luxembourg gardens and close to underground and restaurants but the room we had was so small for the price and very dark, a bit claustrophobic. we had to get in the toilet and close the door to be able to move.

Being my first time in Paris, you can never know what area you really want to be in, until you find the neighborhood with the right restaurants, the cafes, shops...etc. What a gem this was! Looking out our window from our room we could see one of the corners of the Luxembourg Gardens. Though it was winter and quiet in... More

I love the location of this hotel, it is right at Saint Germain a block away from Luxembourg Gardens and a 10 to 15 minutes walk to Notre Dame. Dear Madam, Dear Sir, Thanks you for your kind review. Superior room is our first room's category, room's size is around 14 square meters. If you need room more spacious, it should be better to reserve a Suite what is around 25 square meters or even Deluxe rooms ( around 17/18 square meters ). About our location, Hotel Le Senat... Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
