The view was lovely from the 4th floor which was a bonus and the staff on reception where really friendly & helpful. Also the location is fantastic as... More

This small (20 room) hotel is perfectly situated near a metro stop, very close to the Louvre, and near several small restaurants. In addition, they serve a moderately priced breakfast. The staff all speak English and are particularly helpful.

Hotel de la Place du Louvre is very centrally located for all the tourist sights of Paris. Well located to stroll down the river and see the sights along the way. The check in was efficient and friendly. The room was quite small but well laid out and clean. The shower was above the bath which was quite high so... More

This hotel is certainly one of the best in Paris! The price is certainly resonable and you get value for money! The room itself (Jackson Pollock room) was so clean and well presented. It was beautifully quirky with the bathroom being up its own set of stairs. From the bed there was an amazing view of the east side of... More

A block from 2 Metro Stations with view of the Louvre. Room is small but very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, good shower (but must climb into a high tub to shower), small safe, tv (but not CNN). Great breakfast. Very good wifi. Excellent helpful staff fluent in English. Good value.

We only had one night at the Hotel de la Place du Louve in Paris but the hospitality shown us by Sophie, Helene and others was such a wonderful surprise that it made our stay a memorable one...we would want to go back to Paris just to stay there again! We were made to feel like honoured guests and it... More

This hotel is central to most tourist attractions. The Louvre Museum is across the street. The Opera is a few blocks away. There is a Metro station behind the hotel and the Rue de Rivoli is a short walk. Harry's New York Bar is a short walk. The prices are reasonable. The rooms are nice. It's my favorite hotel in... The hotel is small , the elevator for only two skinny people. The rooms are small but comfortables, the most important the room was very clean. They could update a bit the decoration. It serve its purpose, specially for the prize, nice bed with good quality linens and comfortable, good working air conditioning, bathroom was roomy, hot water. Great location... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
