Every thing about this hotel is nice and friendly, especially the staff and in Paris this makes a huge difference. The rooms are nicely designed, modern and comfortable; a little nest. The bar is a place to invite friends for a drink too. There is an outdoor space with a fireplace. It is very well located in the Marais and... More

The welcoming was warm and sincere and the room was fairly large with nice and cool furnishing. However, avoid room No 1, which i located on ground floor. The breakfast was delicious. An overall great experience.

I'm a frequent visitor of Paris, the city I like the most in the world. This time, I've spent 9 nights at Jules et Jim. It's very well located in Haut Marais, walking distance of the main attractions in Marais, but far enough to not be affected by noisy crowd walking there. The rooms are small (as usually they are...)... More

Tucked away in a side street in the Marais is a delightful ,small hotel, Jules and Jim. We went because we were intrigued by its name as it one of our favorite films. It is only three years old and very modern. Never the less it is extremely comfortable with every thing you would wish for in the room including lovely... More

This boutique hotel with its designer flair enhanced our two night visit to Paris. Although it was a bit hard to find due to the small street it was on and the skewed street plan in the surrounding area, the cleanliness, friendliness and dynamite breakfast were well worth it! The concierge even provided us with a handwritten note to let... More

If you are looking for a gem that accommodates for everyone that Jules and Jim is the place. When you walk through the glass doors, you are immediately welcomed by happy & interested reception staff, an atmosphere that boasts comfort, a relaxed bar setting & eatery arena and a room that fits your needs. Named after a French film, this... More

We stayed for 2 nights in November. The room was pretty disappointing but nothing awful - the hotel put all it's effort into the design of the bar and seemed to forget about the rooms - well, room 1 at any rate. The first night our room was as hot as a furnace, so we told reception the next morning... More

We are very sorry to read such a comment, as we do our best to make our guest feel confortable. This is our job but even more a pleasure. This is not true that your room was a furnase. We can prove it. This affirmation is defamatory as well as your comment on the staff behaviour. There are better maner to... More

Only stayed one night in Paris as this was a flying visit but the whole experience was greatly enhanced by the nights stay at this stylish and comfortable hotel. Hidden in the Marias, this hotel has a charming courtyard bar and great design throughout. Very helpful staff at reception, our room was large and comfortable. Excellent bed and attractive bathroom.... More

Not my favourite part of Paris, but good to stay in the Marais for a change. Very friendly and helpful staff. Full marks to the front desk, bar and breakfast people. Room was small (typical for Paris), but light and fully equipped. Had a Sous les Toits room on 8th floor. Overlooking the courtyard. Lift access, so don't worry about... More

This is a nice and small design hotel in Marais district. Local cab drivers might have difficulties in finding the hotel so I would advice studying the address quite well in advance. The rooms are spread between (at least?) two buildings and we stayed in a "hi-mac" category room which I can recommend. As the hotel is quite small you... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighorhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
