I booked this B&B hotel on line and was not disappointed. The rooms are very clean. The staff wonderful and able to accommodate pretty well any language. Breakfast was always delicious and served with a smile. I have already rebooked for this April 2015 to continue my discovery of Paris on foot. There are two metro stations within a two... More

The hotel overall is great. The rooms are quite basic, and the wifi only worked in the lobby, but the location makes up for it. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Notre Dame is 10 minutes walk away, easy to find as once you find the river it is visible. We also walked to Le Louvre easily in 35 minutes,... More

A friend and I stayed here for two nights and we had a great stay. The location and the price was why we chose it, but the good service affirmed our decision. The room was clean and comfortable enough for two. The bathroom was nice, but the swinging shower door was a lot shorter than the length of the tub.... More

The receptionist was rude, condescending and pushy. He held us up for over a half hour on check in. First, he ignored us and finally acknowledged us after minutes standing there at the desk. Then, he asked for our passports to scan. Then, another guest came down and he pushed us aside to deal with him without even excusing himself.... More

We´ve spent 6 nights there. The hotel is located just 3 blocks from Ilê Saint-Lous. There is a well conected location but not so quiet at night. We stayed in two different rooms. Facilities are basic and service to. If you try to pay in advance (is possible), use the www of the hotel; we´ve made it by email, there... More

It was my first time in Paris and I took a chance on the hotel. It is brilliantly central and Fabio at the front desk was extremely helpful in answering questions and helping me to get where I wanted to be. Truly a fantastic experience. Rooms are small and basic, but clean and neat. Exactly what you want from an... More

Nice hotel. Great receptionist names Fabio who gave us great advice and was very caring and went out of his way to help us. Many shops and cafés nearby. Overall a good hotel. On a busy road, but expected in a city. No a/c so keep that in mind during the summer.

The manager was lovely, very passionate about Paris, and wanted to make sure we were okay with seeing things. This was our third time in Paris, so we were happy just wandering and he was fine with that. But he was there if we needed any help. Would stay here again.

Receptionist was HORRIBLE. I had a friend come upstairs for a bit and the receptionist kept calling and telling me to kick out my friend because it was we were not allowed to have a third person in the room, and if he wanted to visit we'd have to go downstairs. Bed had bed bugs and had at least 7... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
