We got exactly what we expected: a comfortable hotel within walking distance from the Paris attractions. The reception is open around the clock which is great. The rooms need a "do not disturb"-sign though... We preferred to have breakfast at the nearby diner rather than pay 6 euros for a cup of coffee and a croissant. All in all we... more

Small, comfy room; private bathroom; did not smell like smoke; toasty-warm in the winter; perfectly friendly concierge at reception, who spoke a little English; great location (close to the Sorbonne, Louvre, Marais... also to Gibert Joseph, which is one of the best new/used books & CDs stores in Paris). We only stayed here one night. We were allowed to check in early which was very nice. My only complaint would be that I found it a bit noisy as well. I heard the pipes all night long. It was in a good position a little out of the main quarter but still very close. more

It was a beautiful hotel in a really central place! I loved that i could walk only 10 minutes to reach at Notre Dame. Safe area, with a lot of students and nice people. We didn't scared even at 4 o' clock in the morning to walk around the hotel. If you pay 6€ the staff can bring you breakfast... more
