We stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Beaubourg this May. The hotel is on a quiet side street across from Centre Pompidou and a short walk to multiple metro lines. It's also a short walk from Châtelet - Les Halles where you can take the RER B to the airport (CDG). The area is very nice and has a great... More

This hotel was perfect for a weekend stay in Paris - it was quiet, the room was beautiful, and the location unbeatable - all for an incredible price! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a central, cozy Parisian feel.

The hotel is in a great location, several metro stations are within walking distance and choosing the right one may save a line change. The area is very vibrant with lots of eateries within walking distance which is very handy after a nice meal. We booked a superior room which gave us enough space for two cases without being overly... More

We found the location to be very good -- in the midst of a vibrant neighbourhood with shops, boulangeries and restaurants, convenient Metro and bus stops close by. From here we actually walked to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Champs Élysées, and the Eiffel Tower, and back to the hotel, then deeper in to the Marais for dinner -- all in... More

We had a great stay here, the hotel is very conveniently located, lots of shops, restaurants and bars in the area but you hear no noise at all once you're in the hotel. Breakfast is good value for money compared to nearby cafe's. Would definietly stay there again, only three stops from gare de lyon.

Just returned from a week in Paris. Hotel Beaubourg was a quiet oasis when we returned each day from a day of visiting sights and museums. Its just a few doors down a quiet street off of Rue de Renard, which runs by the Pompideau Center. There is a small elevator if needed, but using the stairs was easiest and... More

Hotel is ideally situated right in the centre of Paris, 10m walk to Notre Dame / Louvre, Centre Pompidou right on the doorstep, plus is in the bubbly quartier of Marais with boutiques and ample choice of restaurants. Room was rustic but cute (wooden beams), clean, beds comfortable, and wi-fi good. Reception staff always available. Breakfast available as room service... More

Stayed for four nights last March. It was a very good decision to choose this hotel due to its proximity, security, and its perfect room accommodation. Do not choose the smallest room, but spend a little more for the next one, and you will never regret it. The front desk receptionists were all very helpful and friendly. They helped me... More

This hotel is a wonderful find. You are close to not only Le Marais but also Notre Dame, Le Louvre and countless museums. The staff were most helpful and the breakfast was worth the cost. Amazing restaurants nearby...reserve early for L'Ange...you will be amazed.

Eh, hotel definitely was underwhelming. Check in was efficient, if cold. Not even a 'Welcome to the hotel'. Rooms were tiny, which I expected, but needs to be noted. Bed was comfortable enough. Decor is very dated. Quality of linens, comforter, etc low. Location wasn't bad, but not where I would prefer after getting to know Paris. Used shower gel... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
