Great service, clean, well located. We stayed four nights in a quadruple accommodation which is difficult to find in Paris. Rate was lower than most hotels and apartments and included breakfast, not a continental one but full breakfast which came as a surprise to me as I was expecting just coffee and toast. Overall the experience was very good.

Our team stayed at the hotel during Paris Airshow and we found the hotel convenient in terms of location but the service was very poor .Most of us did not have hot water for shower for the entire stay. Wifi Connection was very poor and the staff did nothing about it even after several veral and written complaints. The aircon... More

We stayed in this hotel for a few nights. The location was great, and it was clean and tidy but that was about the best of it. On our first morning there was no hot water (we were up at 6am), the staff assured us that this would be fixed but by the second morning it was the same. In... More

I have rated this hotel as "average", but that rating merely reflects the amenities offered (I know that some folks like gyms & swimming pools etc) Beyond that, I can only reiterate the comments of an earlier reviewer, (London_UKWanderer). It is indeed a lovely, sweet hotel convenient for both Montmartre & the heart of Paris. The hotel is small but,... More

This was a lovely, sweet hotel well located for Montmartre and the centre of town. The only downside was, that like a lot of Paris hotels in older parts of town, it was a little cramped. There was a generosity to the place with free wine tastings and tea and coffee in reception. The breakfast in the cellar was again... More

We were moved here after a disaster with the a/c at their sister hotel, Hotel Josephine. They took care of us with a wonderful staff, clean, modern amenities. In a good location, close to metro and restaurants. Remembering that this is a boutique hotel, the room was very small with little space to move around but attractively decorated and a... More

We stayed five nights at the R Kipling Hotel located in the Moulin Rouge area of Paris and were very pleased with the hotel. It is centrally located, three minute walk from the Blanche Metro, the staff are very kind, helpful, and attentive, and rooms are modernized (I.e., key card used for lightswitch, etc.). Breakfast with fresh-squeezed orange juice, baguettes,... More

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in April. The hotel is well situated for the Moulin Rouge and Montmartre and we found a lot of good restaurants nearby. It is an easy walk to the Metro at the top or bottom of Rue Blanche. The rooms were not huge but you don't expect huge rooms in a... More

at first this holtel(from the lobby)looks nice, clean and well looked after but once you get in the room is a totally different story. We choose to take the suite and we were expecting a quite good room at least .The service from the staff was average,no wifi available up to the 6th floor(where we were)which is ridiculous(cost of the room 299€)... we were a team of 14 business people travelling during the Paris Airshow, staying for most of the week at this hotel. everyone loved the location but what a shock in the hotel itself: not hot water, poor wifi, amenities not replenished, poor English spoken at reception. it was a pure disaster. reception staff kept assuring the problems will be... Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
