I disagree about the dismissive staff, noise and inadequate size of the rooms! But many of the negative reviews are many years old, and perhaps things have changed. It could also be some young reviewers lack experience in traveling in Europe and expect American-sized hotels and don't realize Paris is an old city with small hotel rooms. We stayed there... more

I must say the hotel is in a convenient location. Right next to stores, the metro, some cafe's (a very good one, Llinois), massage parlor (the best), hairsalon, grocery stores, etc. They say it's a short walk to the eiffel tower, it's NOT! take the metro instead, especially during the winter! The staff is not rude but they're average. The... more

This hotel is pretty good for the price. It is a typical, cramped, European style hotel, but it was clean and functional and in a quiet part of town. The staff were friendly during our brief encounters. If there was free wi-fi I would not hesitate recommending this hotel for short weekend trips to Paris. Just be warned that it... more

Smallish room but excellent facilities, location and very helpful and friendly staff. If you are after a traditional 3 star Paris hotel you are unlikely to get any better than this place. more

Our room was so small, we had to stack our suitcases on top of each other to get them off the floor. The worst part, however, was the noise...snoring, showers, entire conversations, sex, plumbing gurgles, tiolet flushes YUK! The WiFi was great, however, and the location (1 block from a Metro stop) was fine. The neighborhood (aside from the residents... more

This hotel is in a very convenient location, and we enjoyed being away from the more touristy areas. It is close to the Metro, has convenient cafes nearby for breakfast, and is a quick walk to the Eiffel Tower area. The rooms are small but adequate. They are advertised as soundproof, which is true from the outside, but not from... more

Don’t stay here! The staff were nice during the stay but don’t let this mislead you. The room was small, very small and I have stayed in a fair few hotels in Paris. There were blood stains on the bed linen and towels. I had asked if breakfast was included (as there was no mention of this when I booked)... more

There is better for the same price. Stayed here twice and the last time we were going to the airport with lots of luggage at around 5 am, asked for a taxi and the waiter gave us no type of help. Said we had to book for a taxi and didn't bother to look at us again. I nearly fainted.... more

This hotel was recommended by a friend as not the usual American tourist hotel - it's more frequented by Europeans. Rooms are a decent size (and we had three in the room), bath facilities clean with plenty of hot water. The staff is VERY nice and helpful and the lobby area contains a small area for Continental Breakfast in the... more

Pleasent spacious hotel with friendly, helpfull, english speaking staff. Our room was a good size, clean, tidy and nicely decorated. A large bathroom equiped with a good sized bath, shower, etc and hairdryer. The room was soundproofed, very private with full climate control, clean and tidy, nicely decorated. The hotel really is situated near the Eiffel-a pleasent stroll down the road... more
