Very convenient location, more central impossible. Close to Metro and a nice walking distante towards Louvre and other points of interest. The building is antique and very French style so off course it misses the comfort of a modern establishment. I booked by mistake a room without bathroom (shared in the hall), which was a bit uncomfortable but it was... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We arrived in Paris by train, hopped on the metro and literally, just around the corner was the hotel. This is a hotel off the tourist track, but totally immersed in the heart of local Parisians' lifestyle. Blocks of cobble stoned streets lined with cafes humming with young professionals enjoying their European... More

We are pleased that you enjoyed your trip in Paris. We just would like to draw your attention to the fact that there is a few international channels in the rooms: there is a button on the remote control to switch from french channels to international. Best regards. More

This hotel was adorable and small. It was clean and staff was willing to help us with our safe that kept malfunctioning. They had breakfast that was quiet good. If you have issues with tiny, steep stairs this hotel is not for you. Only complaint about staff was that the maid kept moving our stuff around. The area is interesting.... More

We stayed here 6 nights on july 2014. Hotel location was really great, maximum walk to metrostation Chatelle les halles is 5minutes from hotel. This metrostation is also a shopping center, where you can find everything you need. Hotel rooms are pretty small, but cosy. They keep the rooms very clean and neat. On the room you will had an... My wife and I stayed at the hotel for three weeks (minus a few days in Normandy.) The location is excellent: a five minute walk from the Metro stop Les Halles and about ten minutes from the Pompidou. Metro Line 4 runs through Les Halles and is one of the best for getting around Paris. The area around the hotel... More

The hotel has an excellent location. The price is low comparing with many other hotel in that area. Our room (#24) was small with a view to the street. No air condition and no elevator!! which means we had to carry our bags to second floor through narrow stairs. Helpful and friendly staff. Overall for the price if you don't... More

This hotel would be fine if you are simply wanting a budget base reasonably close to most of the sites. It is clean and fairly close to the Paris Est Station. However, if you're wanting anything more than that, I'd recommend spending more and staying somewhere nicer. The man who was on the desk most of the time was unfriendly... More

Room - Nice, clean & decent with private bath room. Please note that there is no lift and the staircase may be considered steep and challenging for kids, old folks and people with more luggages. However, the ceiling and stairway & the room feel like we were staying in a french style castle. Nice! Service - Friendly & they did... More

I stayed here from 16-23 May 2014 Spring, single bed, bathroom and toilet outside. LOCATION 93/100. The best, 1st arrondisement! By foot, 10-15 minutes to Notre Dame, Berthillion Ice Cream, Shakespeare & Co., Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Pompidou and Hotel de Ville and Du Pains et Des Idees. 5 minutes to Monoprix supermarket (for anything, including Poilane bread!), Metro stations, and... Our accommodation was everything we were looking for - a centrally located hotel, a comfortable bed with en-suite (including pretty good hairdryer), a safe for valuables, TV and internet services and enough sockets for various gadgets - without paying for frills we didn't need as we were planning to be out and about all day. Above all, the room was... More
