A wonderful, cute hotel. Very friendly staff, very clean and neat. Excellent location for metro, shops and restaurants. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget hotel with exceptional value and perfect location.

Great location, 10 min to the Louvre, super breakfast and wonderful service. No aircon or fan in my room for it was very hot but lucky it cooled down during the night. The room was dressed in past decor but clean, good sized and bathroom was updated and lovely. My room was very quiet with the windows shut.

enjoyed my stay even though i arrived in 40 degree heat. I was lucky to have one of the rooms with an air conditioner. Good breakfast and very clean rooms. This hotel is in a great spot and there is a great restaurant down the road that hotel vivienne can give you a brochure and stamp for to get a free... More

I stayed for 2 nights in this hotel, considering the Paris hotel rates this is great, you are 5 min way from the seine and right in the center of the city. The room I stayed in wasn't completely remodeled, however they spent the money where it was needed most: the mattress was very comfortable, the furniture is recent, so... More

We have stayed in the Hotel Vivienne for times now, so that tells you a lot about how much we like it. The hotel is small, without being pokey, central without feeling too touristy and in a brilliant location in terms of metro connections, cafes bars and shops. You can walk easily to The Louvre and the Tuilleries, or in... More

This hotel was very central. I walked to the Louvre and Jardins Tuileries, the Bourse Metro was not crowded so an easy place to learn the system and was used often. The hotel is in a small, plain boutique style - the rooms clean and bathrooms very sleek. I appreciated a quiet back location. There are no further amenities such... More

We are two ladies in our 70's from the UK and found the accommodation at the Vivienne Hotel perfect for our stay. The staff were very friendly and the room we had to be good, clean, with very comfortable beds. It's location was perfect for lots of amenities and many restaurants. Would definitely come back.

Small family run hotel in an excellent location. Plenty of bars / restaurants on the main street 50 yards away with a metro station just around the corner. No frills but rooms clean and comfortable with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast continental and adequate. Nice welcome from the owner who was a bit of a comedian. Would stay here again.

This is a good place to stay a deux, with friends or with family. The hotel is small so you get personal service but the rooms are great with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Safe to walk back at night and central for visiting or working in Paris. We always stay here, we love the area and the... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
