Staff is really kind. In years it was the first time I?ve had such a large room in Paris for this price! Weak point the breakfast, that could be arranged a bit better, not for the quality but rather for the offer. Actually you have to ask for everything. All in all I'd say it was a nice staying at... We stayed in hotel baudelaire 3 weeks ago for a romantic escape. We chose this hotel because of the low prices available and especially the convenient location. My partner and I both love museums in the morning, shopping at noon, and good restaurants once the city gets dark. We got room 61 on the 6th floor which has a double... More

With my boyfriend we spent some wonderful 3 days in Paris. We choose this hotel for the area where it is located: on foot every location is reachable, Opera is very closed by, lots of restaurants and brasserie, supermarkets or shops. Hotel is very quiet and silent, the bed is very comfortable. The rooms are always clean and the temperature... More

My impression of Paris is not one of warmth. Style, yes. Great food, yes, often. But when it comes to warm welcomes or extraordinary care and concern for the traveler, Paris is not the first place that comes to mind. But that's just what I found in this little gem of a hotel. The sisters who run it looked after... More

Eurostar disgorged us at the Gare du Nord and a 15 euro taxi turned us out into the front door of a 3- star hotel where a charming English-speaking lady welcomed and clocked us in with a map of Paris and many smiles. The lift took us to our 3rd-floor room which, although reasonable enough, had seen better days as... More

The only good thing about the hotel is itslocation. The room and bathroom are very small, without any form of luxury. The room was clean and staff was friendly though. I would not recommend staying since it is overpriced.

Good location that's it. Hotel room dingy and very disappointing for the amount of money we paid to stay here couldn't wait to get out of the place. The photographs are very misleading and should be updated! mold in the bathroom and 12 euros for a stale croissant and a slice of bread, one member of staff very rude on... More

I just spent a week at this hotel, and I can recommend it without reservation. The location is great, the rooms charming, clean, and comfortable, and the price very reasonable. But the service sets it apart. The desk clerk was ever ready with excellent advice and suggestions, and the housekeeping staff quickly adjusted to my way of arranging things. And,... More

I stayed at Baudelaire Opera mainly because it is located in a very good quartier of Paris, afterall, the Louvre is just about five minutes walk from the hotel. Metro station very near too. I thought the room could be more clean and the breakfast could offer more options, since the price is above average.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
