I was apprenhensive about staying here due to the reviews but stayed because of it's excellent location. I was very relieved when I arrived and found the place to be lovely. The bedroom ( a 4 bed dorm) was clean and warm the bed was vey comfortable with clean linen. The shower and toilet were clean with lots of hot... More

My friends and I booked this hostel as purely a place to sleep - we were planning on visiting the monuments during the day and then going out at night! We weren't sure what to expect considering some of the reviews however we were surprised. The staff at the front counter were very nice... they were happy to speak either... More

The hostel is centrally located in the "Republic" area of Paris and within two blocks of the subway station. The rooms are basic and clean. However, keep in mind the bathrooms are shared and needed an update about 20 years ago. The staff are very accommodating. They may lose your booking information so be sure you have a copy of... More

Nice place to stay, located centrally with easy access to the metro. Beds are comfortable with sinks in the room. The breakfast is pretty average but it'll last you to lunch. Staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. The bathrooms could be better but overall are ok. Building could use an elevator because the stairs are quite... More

This hostel is well located between several metro stations and close to cafes. The good things end there. Firstly I had made my booking via email and had to change the dates about a month before I arrived. I received am email saying this was fine. When my friend and I arrived for a five night stay there was no... More

I went on a solo trip to London-Paris-Amsterdam back in 2010, and had the misfortune of staying in this hostel! At the time, I was a single, 34 year old male, seeking a quaint/clean place to stay. From the moment I entered this place, I immediately sensed that I had made a horrible decision. The host at the front desk... More

This hostel has a serious bed bug problem that amazingly they were unaware of. I am worried they might not take it seriously even now. You may think the problem is something you can handle: no, I am covered in bites. Also: The internet is unreliable. Staff were OK though despite what people said on here. The location is OK,... More

This hostel situation at a very convenient location close to the major metro station. However the facilities there are quite old and need major maintenance and repairing job. Also, the WC and bathroom are not very clean. The most annoying thing is the key system in this hostel. Only one key for every room, it is a hassle for room... More

I stayed in Paris with my Mother for three days at this hostel. Though the room looked like it had not been mopped in a year, we were happy to be able to be in a two person private room with a sink. It had two old chairs and a wobbling table. The room did have french doors that opened... More
