Travelling with our adult 2 children, we stayed at the Millesime Hotel for 4 nights. It was our first time in Paris, we loved our stay. All the staff were very friendly and most helpful, from confirming bookings, ordering taxis, and mailing our post card. The beds were comfortable and both rooms had great newly renovated bathrooms. Also loved the... More

The staff was ready for reccomendations, making reservations, directions and helpful information day or night. I will sum this place up with this "I felt as... More

I'd love this place to stay a hidden gem so I shouldn't really write a review which will make it more popular but: - Great location - couldn't be better - Stunning room - small but it is not often that I've taken photos of a hotel room to remember what I could copy at home (maybe a Babington House... We stayed here in spring last year for three nights B+B and loved it - and the bill averaged just under 200 euros a night. This spring we stayed 1 night, without breakfast, and the bill came to nearly 300 euros. That seems a very big jump in price. What's changed? Well, the rooms/bathrooms have been re-done in a kind... The front desk staff was very helpful and all spoke excellent English. The hotel is rennovating and I received a shiny new room. Bathrooms are modern with plenty of counter and shelf space. Rooms were modern and comfortable. Short walk to sidewalk restaurants. Slight longer walk to the Seine, Notre Dame, Luxenbourg Gardens and other sites. Near subway. I enjoyed... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
