Hi everyone! This time I would like to share with you my first experience in Paris. Before selecting the hotel & area, I did a deep search. First, I wanted to stay in a very safe, central, elegant and vibrant area, where I could walk around during the day enjoying nice shops, nice bistro, tea rooms, cafe, and creperie. Second,... More

Chose for 3 nights stay with my partner and opted without breakfast. Very close to sub-ways. Nearest sub-way is less than 5 mins walk and a few sub-ways nearby as well. Very near to Lourve and river cruise terminal. This little hotel located at quiet side of busy area. Central location and easy access to tourist attractions. At night it... More

This is my third stay at the Millésime, the first was as a solo traveler, and this last time was as a solo traveler as the person I was to travel with had to settle on a property back in the states so they had to cancel :-( Everyone working at the hotel goes out of their way to make... More

This little boutique hotel is right in the heart of where you want to stay. My daughter was staying with school chums at St. Christopher's Hostel a ways away and thought that was Paris until she came to this marvelous area where our hotel was on Rue Jacob. Lots of cafes and anything you want as well as walking to... More

We spent seven nights at this hotel. Brilliant location in a quiet street within just ten minutes walk of the Louvre, Notre Dame and St Germain shopping/ cafes. Metro stations for various lines also are close by. It was very clean and staffed by very friendly and helpful people. Millesime is a genuine three star and a typical Paris boutique... More

The location, on the left bank on a quiet street is really great and is certainly my favorite area. Easy walking to the Seine, to the key museums and gardens, with lots of cafes and restaurants and shopping all around. The nice thing is that this area is one of the liveliest at night to stroll and enjoy the ambiance.... More

We had a great stay at Millesime Hotel in October. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and I cannot think of a better location. The hotel is close to most major museums and is in a very walkable neighborhood, near good "local" restaurants and all the shopping one would want. There is a Paul bakery nearby if you want... More

This is my second stay at the Millésime this year, the first was in March/April as a solo traveler in a Classic room and this one was with my spouse in a Superior room. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years, as is evident from my previous reviews. I write yet again to reinforce my belief... More

We could not have chosen a better hotel for our visit to Paris. From the front desk staff to the room everything was wonderful. A welcoming bottle of wine, fresh fruit and delicious macaroons delivered to our room each day. We had the best view of Paris roof tops, air conditioning, completely modern bathroom, a great breakfast spread. The hotel... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
