This hotel is great for the adult urban explorer. Very clean, comfortable, quiet room with helpful staff and buffet breakfast. Great value. Within walking distance of the Louvre, metro, cafes and shopping. We were there in winter and had more than adequate heating. When it got too warm we opened the window to the courtyard for cooling. This is a... More

This hotel is in a great location and has friendly staff who will try to give their recommendations and will happily have a conversation with you. Unfortunately the price paid reflects the location and not the quality of the rooms. The standard of cleanliness was below what I would have liked and the bed was hard. The room was boiling... More

All the other reviews are right, the location compared to the price is second to none. It's not flashy by any means... but for a urban explorer who will be spending little time in the room its perfect. The staff are very kind and very helpful. You are a stones throw away from the Louvre and central Metro stations. It's... More

OK, as others indicated, the room was small, but adequate for two nights. The bottle of wine was a nice welcome. And it was clean apart from a bit of black mould in the bathroom grouting. Two things spoiled our stay for me: 1) It was hot, and although we turned off the radiator, the pipes stayed hot and couldn't... More

This hotel is located in a very good place quite next to the Louvre and Rue de Rivoli. A short walk from the Opera and Galeries La Fayette. The hotel is on a small alley, so no horrible trafic noise. It is quite nice old building and unfortunately also full of staircases. So if you have trouble climing, do not... More

For location, this hotel could be rated 5 star. I agree with other reviewers on this. Also, the street is very quiet. However, the rooms are TINY and the two of us who went (mother and daughter, 5'1 and 5'3, 7-8 stone) would not like to have stayed longer than the 2 weekend nights we were there. Having said that,... Location and price-wise, this is the real deal. The hotel is on one of the side streets near The Louvre and Metro (Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre station), around 1-2 minutes walk. It's a small hotel with a small elevator and small room, but it has everything a solo traveler needs: a clean bed, toilet and airconditioning. The bed... More

Hotel has great location near all sights (Museum Louvre, Palace Royal...), 150 m from metro station and from famous Rue de Rivoli. Staff is also great, friendly, helpful. Rooms are clean but small. Breakfast is tasty, hot coffe, milk, tea...There are plenty restaurants along the road with very good french food.

Our short visit to Paris was wonderful and this novel, somewhat curious, hotel and its staff was a major contributor to that wonder. We were welcomed, comfortable and close to many sites we wanted to visit. And by the way, the wine was terrific. Merci beaucoup...
