Nine months before our trip, we reserved the "family suite for 5" for five nights. Upon arrival, we were told the family suite was not available and we should talk to the front desk person the next morning. We tried the next morning and were given one key to the hallway that our two rooms opened into and were told... More

We spent 7 nights and the location of the hotel was wonderful. The rustic charm was appealing as well. Happy to have a mini fridge in the room. It felt "homey" but for the price I expected something more. There was a lovely courtyard but we were not allowed to bring in our own food to enjoy in that courtyard.... More

I loved the look of this hotel when I booked it for our time in Paris. I always try to find non-chain places and spend our money locally. And Those looks did not disappoint - we loved the garden area and the exposed beams/exposed bricks and rustic appeal of the place. However for what we paid I had hoped for... More

This is a 2 star hotel at 3 star prices. Generally helpful and friendly hotel staff, especially Tanya, but not enough overcome the lack of cleanliness. This hotel is in dire need of updating and a thorough cleaning and extermination. I will not return.

Location - In a small street between Rue Saint Dominique et Rue de l'Université. It is a few minutes away by foot from the Quai d'Orsay, the Pont de l'Alma, the Eiffel Tower, the Musée Branly. There is a RER line and a few bus lines in the vicinity. The location is good. Room - The rooms I know are... More

When looking for a small boutique hotel in 7th Arrondisement in Paris, we found the La Tulipe, a small but well appointed hotel close to everything!!! You can quickly walk to the Eiffel Tower, the Rodin Museum and Notre Dame. They gave us a discount since we found them through Rick Steve's book on Paris! The hotel was very comfortable... More

My stay at Hotel de la Tulipe was VERY disappointing. Even by Paris standards this hotel does not measure up. It is neither quant nor is it a treasure. It's just a ridiculously small, overpriced hotel very much in need of work. It was not possible to unpack suitcases, as there was nothing but a very small closet so it... More

Super friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are small, but comfortable, clean and with everything needs for a pleasant stay. Mini bar too. Great location to explore Paris, just minutes away of Eiffel Tower. Great stay, will be back!

Ideal location for exploring on foot Parisienne boutique fashion, food and culture. The courtyard's tables and chairs are perfect to enjoy the widest selection of gourmet "foodie" treats from Rue Cler which is 2 minutes' walk. Don't miss one of the largest Cheese shops in the world!

I'm rating this as three stars because it's Paris, in the US it would have been 2. Wonderful location in the 7th arrondissement. Close walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, the d'Orsay museum, the Army museum, Napoleon's tomb, and longer but easy to do the Louvre. Room was cute but very small (but it's Paris!), the bed was low and... More
