Super friendly and helpfull staff. Rooms are small, but comfortable, clean and with everything needs for a pleasant stay. Mini bar too. Great location to explore Paris, just minutes away of Eiffel Tower. Great stay, will be back!

Ideal location for exploring on foot Parisienne boutique fashion, food and culture. The courtyard's tables and chairs are perfect to enjoy the widest selection of gourmet "foodie" treats from Rue Cler which is 2 minutes' walk. Don't miss one of the largest Cheese shops in the world!

I'm rating this as three stars because it's Paris, in the US it would have been 2. Wonderful location in the 7th arrondissement. Close walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, the d'Orsay museum, the Army museum, Napoleon's tomb, and longer but easy to do the Louvre. Room was cute but very small (but it's Paris!), the bed was low and... More

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Hotel Tulipe in early July. A quaint hotel surrounding a lovely courtyard. A great location in the 7th arrondissement and less than a 10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, the Seine & the champs de élysées . And the nearby Rue Cler where we found multiple great boulangeries, fromageries, flower shops, bistros to... More

We loved the location, quiet but walking distance to all the sites and on several convenient bus, metro and RER lines. The local restaurants were good and being near Rue Cler was a big benefit. Plus, we could walk to the Eiffel Tower easily to see the light display at night. Very safe neighborhood as well, we felt totally comfortable... More

We arrived late and they quickly checked us into our room. Very friendly. The hotel is an old convent so no elevator and small stairwells (getting luggage to your room takes some effort). The rooms are small, but furnished suitably for the room rates. Breakfast is extra, but was good. What my wife and I really like about this hotel... More

We loved this small boutique hotel for our first trip to Paris. Staff were wonderful and friendly, helpful across the board for helping us orient to the city, finding transportation to sites and restaurant locations. Yes the room was small but we knew that going in. Bed was comfortable, second floor room overlooking the courtyard was quiet. Only problem: other... More

Great Location, close to the subway, and attractions. Small rooms, as is the norm for Paris. Two twin beds pushed together with barely enough room to walk around them. Usually have to walk over the bed. Decor is dated, wallpaper peeling, plaster crumbling in some areas but not in a dirty or decrepit way - rather as part of the... More

The perfect hotel for our first trip to Paris. Centrally located to many sights, shops & excellent bistros & restaurants. On the # 69 city bus which travels the entire central city & all major sites. The hotel staff was extremely helpful & knowledgeable in advising us about how to get around & willingly arranged transport from CDG. & to Gare... More

Bernard was sooooo very helpful in terms of orientating to the location, bus schedules and metro stops - in fact he made the trip!!!! Rooms were really small - even cramped for luggage and such- breakfast was continental and served in a lovely space -

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
