This was our first time in Paris. I had searched for hotels in Paris and the price was so expensive. We paid 92 euros per night for a room with a bath, so it's still affordable. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly. We arrived at noon and the check in was not until... more

This little hotel was fantastic! Very close (2 min) walk to the metro station, lots of little cafe's and shops down the street, and a 10-15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. What more could one ask for in Paris?? The rooms were what you expect size-wise in Europe. Small but with everything you need. Bed, dresser, closer, window, lamps,... more

I stayed at this hotel for the 7th and 8th times on two separate occasions in August. After finding the Hotel de l'Avre a few years ago I won't stay anywhere else in Paris. Most importantly, the beds are fantastically comfortable. The hotel is pretty, rooms are adequate size, nice spacious bathrooms (those with bath - I haven't stayed in... more

We chose this hotel for our 5 days stay in Paris because of good reviews in TripAdvisor. Once again, we weren’t disappointed. From our point of view the best thing about this hotel was the location: surrounding area is pretty original without notable tourist hustle and bustle, still there are enough shops and restaurants for everyday needs. Metro station is... more

We just returned today from Paris where we spent 5 days, and wanted to add a review of this beautiful hotel. Staff: I booked our accommodation a month ahead, for our anniversary, and communication between us and the hotel was great from the very beginning. They do speak English, although the night shift does a little less but we managed... more

The staff were very helpful and very friendly. They let us store our luggage. They let us use an iron and stored my wife's insulin for her in a refrigerator. We had breakfast in the garden area and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was about a block from the metro. The hotel was older but clean and it had personality. Our... more

Hotel L’Arve, in the 15th arrondissement, is somewhat near the Tour Eiffel, and close to a number of useful Métro lines. Still, it feels a bit out of the flow, and it's certainly not the place for a special occasion. But it's clean, has character, and is a very good value. We normally don't take breakfast in Paris hotels (we... more

I absolutely loved Hotel de l'Avre! I just moved to Paris, France and stayed there for two nights while I looked for a place to live permanently. I really enjoyed my stay there! Everyone who works there is incredibly kind! They are really what made my stay so great! They were helpful with so many things! The gentleman at the... more

Our stay at the Hotel de l'Avre was average and nothing unexpected. Some thougts: - the rate was really good (82 euros per night) - breakfast (8 euros per person) consists of croissants, bread, coffee/tea, jam and orange juice. It is substantial (all that bread and butter is delicious) but you lose out on the "French cafe experience" - staff... more
